Updated 2026 Genesis Electrified GV70 Priced From $65,875

Hyundai and Kia dove into electrification with their lineups of dedicated electric vehicles, while the conglomerate’s luxury brand, Genesis, has taken a relatively conservative approach. It only sells the GV60 SUV, its version of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, and the Electrified GV70, an electric version of its gas-powered GV70 SUV. (The Electrified G80 sedan is discontinued for 2026.)
The Electrified GV70 is updated for the 2026 model year, with the biggest changes being a larger battery and a widescreen dashboard with a digital instrument panel and infotainment touchscreen combined into a single 27-inch display. Exterior changes are harder to spot: The front bumper, grille and headlights are revised, and behind the newly power-operated charging door is a heated and lighted North American Charging Standard port for plugging in at Tesla chargers.

Trim Levels
Ordering an Electrified GV70 is extremely straightforward. Buyers choose interior and exterior colors, then check yes or no on available accessories like a hitch receiver, cross bars for the roof rack, illuminated running boards and a home charging station. There are no other options, like audio system upgrades, on any trim level.
As Genesis positions the Electrified GV70 above its gas-powered counterpart, even the entry-level EV rides on the brand’s brilliant Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview, which scans the road ahead with a camera and proactively adjusts the suspension at each wheel to smooth out road imperfections. The base vehicle also rides on 19-inch wheels and features keyless entry and start, LED exterior lighting, a panoramic moonroof and a hands-free power liftgate. Its cabin boasts power-adjustable and heated front seats, perforated leather upholstery and wireless phone charging, as well as the new widescreen dashboard, which features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Standard safety tech on the 2026 Electrified GV70 includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, blind spot steering assist, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, front and rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor and automatic high beams.
Buyers who opt for the Advanced trim level receive 20-inch wheels, power-folding side mirrors with puddle lamps and Digital Key 2, which allows them to use their phone as a key and remotely monitor the vehicle. Inside, the Advanced adds ventilated front seats, a massaging driver’s seat and a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column. It also gets an upgraded forward collision warning system, as well as a 360-degree parking camera, blind spot cameras and Highway Driving Assist 2, which allows for a degree of hands-on semi-autonomous driving.
At the top of the Electrified GV70 lineup, the Prestige gains Nappa leather upholstery, upgraded finishes for the dashboard and headliner, heated outboard rear seats, rear window shades, a Bang & Olufsen sound system and active noise canceling. The Prestige also includes automated parking and a head-up display.
