CARS.COM — Volkswagen’s I.D. concept suite is about to be joined by a new member — the I.D. Vizzion — and the automaker has just revealed a teaser image of the new concept. The four-passenger sedan with no steering wheel or gasoline engine will be unveiled next week in Geneva.
More details about the concept are dribbling out ahead of its debut. Volkswagen says the concept shows off its vizzion … er, vision for a fully autonomous Level 5 vehicle, and incorporates new control interfaces and augmented reality interaction.
The I.D. Vizzion joins previous Volkswagen I.D. concepts with double-z names like the Buzz — an all-electric modern take on the iconic VW bus — and the Crozz electric SUV.
