Wagoneer Train: 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Limited Priced From $66,995

A short while after the first of its new Wagoneer S line, the Launch Edition, went on sale for the 2024 model year, Jeep has announced the next trim level of the fully electric SUV, this time as a 2025 model. With a base price of $66,995 (price includes $1,795 destination), the Limited undercuts the fully loaded Launch Edition by $5,000 but still packs in a degree of luxury buyers expect from a Jeep bearing that trim-level designation.

What Remains, What Was Lost

Like the Launch Edition, the 2025 Wagoneer S Limited sports a black roof and mirrors, as well as a panoramic moonroof. But the Limited’s 20-inch wheels are machined aluminum rather than the Launch Edition’s black. The Limited debuts a new exterior color, the silvery Hydro Blue seen here, as well as a fresh interior hue called Arctic Gray. Inside are power-adjustable heated front seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen.
What the Limited is missing relative to the Launch Edition is the latter’s standard ventilated front seats, heated and ventilated rear seats, 10.25-inch passenger touchscreen and 19-speaker McIntosh sound system, though at least most of those will be optional. Given the mere $5,000 separating the two, that bundle of extras makes a strong case for the Launch Edition.
Powertrain Specs and Range
While the Wagoneer S shares its name with Jeep’s gas-powered family barge, it shares its platform with the new Dodge Charger EV. Like the Charger, the Wagoneer S packs a 100.5-kilowatt-hour battery that Jeep says can charge from 20% to 80% in as little as 23 minutes on a DC fast charger.
The Wagoneer S Launch Edition boasts an EPA-rated range of up to 303 miles, but the Limited is likely to stretch its electrons farther. Electric motors front and rear give the Jeep all-wheel drive and a combined 500 horsepower and 520 pounds-feet of torque, versus the Launch Edition’s total of 600 hp and 617 pounds-feet of torque. However, an over-the-air Propulsion Boost Package will be available sometime after the start of sales that increases the Limited’s output to Launch Edition levels.
