Outstanding buying experience
This review is overdue and for starters, this is speaking to the outstanding above and beyond experience provided by Adam Locke and Khalid Manneh, during the car ordering and sales process. We had previously purchased a 2017 BMW M3 from Fremont since we had a terrible, absolutely terrible (borderline stereotypical racist) experience at Peter Pan San Mateo from a sales person called Jeremy, and we had sworn off Pater Pan San Mateo. Given the outstanding service we continue to receive from Peter Pan Burlingame (Jordan Cuellar) for servicing the M3, we decided to give San Mateo a second chance. We were met by Khalid and he immediately took the time to understand our needs, ask questions and provide input. Never for once did he try to push a car onto us, gave us accurate information, spent a lot of time answering our questions, and letting us test drive until we were satisfied. Since we have never owned a plug-in hybrid before, it was all important for us to get the test drive to our satisfaction before custom ordering the 2023 X5 45e. Next came Adam into the process – he was terrific. We were bringing in a loan through our own bank, and he took the utmost care, time and patience to answer any and all questions, gave useful tips and feedback that resulted in a seamless and near-perfect purchase experience. Adam provided us with a loyalty discount and was able to add on a Corporate Fleet discount from our company. We had no clue about the latter, and were only able to avail it, because Adam went that extra length to ask about our Corporate affiliations. He ensured we had all paperwork prefilled to the extent possible, which made our purchase experience a breeze. The signatures took us into early evening, within a few hours of closing time. Upon learning we had elected to get a protective coating on the car, he offered to get it done that day itself and suggested we don’t drive a new car out the lot without the coat, in addition to us saving time. Adam had the car prepped and ready for us a few hours, tad past the closing time and patiently explained the nitty gritty of the new car to allow us to drive home safely. As a pleasant surprise, he put in a coupon for accessories in the mail, with a nice note. As is pretty obvious, Adam and Khalid made up and then some, for the terrible experience in 2017, to the point when we get the next BMW, we will check with Adam et al. first. Needless to say, if there is any friend and contact in our network looking for a BMW, we would send them Adam’s way!

Peter Pan BMW was an easy buying experience. I was interested in a car and we were able to come to an agreeable price. I saw an online advertisement for the new BMW spoke to the sales team on the phone who verified that it was available. I drove over and bought the car that evening no headaches no hassles. I recommend PeterPan BMW if looking for a BMW.

We are longtime BMW owners with repeat new leases covered
We are longtime BMW owners with repeat new leases covered by full warranty. We have been bringing our cars to Peter Pan for years and the service has gotten progressively worse. Impossible to contact anyone, they sit on your car forever, and the latest is that every time we bring a car in, there is an extra diagnostic fee or service that is required that is not covered by the warranty. These are 2 year old cars with issues requiring out of pocket cost of more than $3k? Unacceptable. This time they are saying that the sunroof leaked and that is not covered by warranty, even though there is nothing I could have done to prevent it. I just think this place is out to fleece customers. Switching dealers.
