Do not take your BMW to Peter Pan Motors !

On 01/25/22 I brought my BMW in to have the Footwell Module replaced after waiting for an appointment for3 weeks. I was told when I made the appointment that there was an extended warranty by BMW for the Footwell Module. It was 10 years/156,000 miles.I was told it would be covered by BMW. But, after waiting quite awhile I was rudely informed by service advisor Steven Hooper that my 2011 BMW was too old to qualify for the warranty. I told him I thought it was either the age of the car (2010) or the mileage of 156,000. My car had 107,000 miles. It seems BMW is trying to pull a fast one and not live up to the extended warranty.Mr. Hooper told me that the cost to fix my car would be $2200 and I informed him that I could not afford that price. So, I took my car home with no turn signals or ability to roll the windows up and down. I guess Peter Pan BMW thinks everyone who owns a BMW is wealthy.My husband purchased the car and I inherited it after he passed away in 2018 and I have had nothing but trouble with it since! I rook it to get smogged in December 2021 and it failed. They told me to go on the freeway and drive it at 55 miles per hour for 30 or so minutes to reset the sensors in the computer. Well, I did this 4 times with no luck. My expiration date was fast arriving so I had to take to a BMW mechanic (not Peter Pan) and it cost me $800.00 to fix the sensors in the computer. I am a retired woman living on Social Security and a pension and can't afford these inflated prices. Please don't take your BMW to Peter Pan BMW unless you are prepared to pay their exorbitant prices.Also, they are rude and discourteous as well.
