Arturo Vallez has been the only car sales person I’ve

Arturo Vallez has been the only car sales person I’ve ever dealt with who was naturally informative, counseled in a non-salesy way, and just came across as honest and full of integrity. My family and I loved working with him. He was a wonderful active listener and generous in so many ways when my daughter was not feeling well. I highly recommend him. His service was exceptional. We’re very happy with Arturo and our new car!

I want to start by saying our sells representative was

I want to start by saying our sells representative was amazing however management and regional was severely disappointing. About 2 weeks ago my husband and I came in to trade and purchase two vehicles. We were unable to get to the numbers we wanted while in store that day. The next day I received a call that they were able to get us to the numbers we were looking for. Originally my husband and I said we were not interested but after thinking about it we decided we were and told our sales representative. We told him we would come in 3 days later. The day before we were told the cars sold. Completely understandable, we understand it is first come first serve. Our sales representative told us he would keep an eye out for two vehicles that would fit our needs and budget. The next day he told me he spoke with his regional and was told me he found two vehicles that fit our requirements and the regional authorized the price we wanted to be at. We told him we would there that night to purchase the vehicles. We arrived and test drove a couple vehicles and two and a half hours later we were told they were not going to honor the deal we were told they would. We are incredibly frustrated by how we were treated. We would not have come back in to the store if we were not told that they could make the deal work. This experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

Mr. Nana Buah and George Lewis III helped us looked for and buy a car today. it was a pleasure meeting and a privilege to have them help with the purchase of a Toyota sentra. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and very kind. We have bought many cars over the years and this was the best experience we have ever had with salesman and business managers. A huge thanks to Arturo Vallez for the purchase of our new car and trade in. He was so patient with all my concerns and questions and made sure I got the deal I was looking for without hassle. Just look his name up - he has only 5 stars for a reason. The drive from Austin was worth it, and when we got there, the process was very smooth, quick, and efficient. Ahmad helped with finance and he was great too. We will definitely be back here for our next Toyota purchase!

I walked out of this dealership and won't go back.

I walked out of this dealership and won't go back. I am an older women and the sales manager decided I couldn't afford the vehicle that I came in to look at. The salesman actually said the sales manager wanted him to show me 'cars in my price range'. This guy didn't know me. How dare he make decisions like that! After I sat there waiting for 45 minutes, he finally came out and sat down with a smug little smile and offered me the choice of reupholstering one of the cars I didn't want. I got a followup text from the salesman and asked him to look for something for me. Never heard from him again. I ended up buying the model I wanted from another Toyota dealership with way better customer service.

Negative Review for Marvin Hall Jr.

Negative Review for Marvin Hall Jr. at Toyota Vandergriff - Arlington I recently had a deeply frustrating experience at Toyota Vandergriff, specifically with Marvin Hall Jr., the used car manager. I initially signed a contract for a 2023 Toyota Tundra Limited on December 12th, 2024, but the loan fell through. I returned on December 20th to sign a new contract, but even now, on January 6th, 2025, the loan still hasn’t processed. When I visited the dealership today to return the truck, I was initially met with understanding from Favour and Steven, who were cordial and professional. However, Marvin Hall Jr. quickly escalated the situation when he came to Steven’s desk. I explained that I couldn’t keep the truck without an approved loan and requested my down payment back. Instead of handling the matter professionally, Marvin insisted on keeping the truck and my down payment, claiming he needed to "get paid for the vehicle." To make matters worse, he made a comment about not being a rental company and even threatened legal action against me using Berkshire Hathaway lawyers—completely unprovoked. Adding to the frustration, they conveniently mentioned I needed to send them a bill only after I made it clear I was turning in the truck. This felt like a last-minute attempt to complicate the process further. I literally had to call the cops which isn't a good look for any dealership let along Toyota due to the outstanding track record. Marvin’s approach showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and a lack of empathy for my situation. I expected a more respectful and solution-oriented response, especially considering the circumstances. This experience left me deeply dissatisfied, and I strongly caution others when dealing with Marvin Hall Jr. at Toyota Vandergriff. Customer service should prioritize resolving issues, not exacerbating them. I will never step foot on this property again.

I just purchased a RAV4 Hybrid at Vandergriff Toyota.

I just purchased a RAV4 Hybrid at Vandergriff Toyota. Arturo Vallez was the sales person who helped me by making the transaction seamless. Arturo knew every detail about the car, showed me how every button worked, plus answered the many questions I had. My wife bought a RAV4 Hybrid from Arturo last year, and had the same great experience. If you are looking for or thinking about buying a new car, I would highly recommend going to Vandergriff Toyota and ask for Arturo.

Extremely long story I will try and shorten - car

Extremely long story I will try and shorten - car stopped driving and was towed in for service (company car). - received no progress updates on vehicle, all updates were me asking about the car. - quoted being completed last Thursday 9/5. - didn’t hear back from the service advisor at all last week until I texted on 9/7 asking about car - was then informed that the tech had lost my key fob during the test drive and they needed to order a new one to replace it and I had to drop my other key to program it - drop fob on Tuesday 9/10 SA said will be done same day - no call, I text asking if it’s done, he says yes. - get there at 5:30 and get keys from cashier both keys are old and no new fob - i then see the huge grease stain in the photos below and get the car back on Empty, zero mile range. - i check the mileage log to report to work and see it was last driven on 9/3 - so the key was “lost” and I had to go up there for no reason? Why wasn’t anything communicated to me prior to me reaching out on 9/7. - then to get the car back dirty, and with ZERO gas, like seriously guys xxx. I wasn’t expecting it to be full, but like maybe half a gallon — it’s a Prius not a tundra or sequoia. I will go further from my home to have my vehicle serviced from now on. This was extremely disappointing from so many aspects. DO NOT RECOMMEND. After leaving my review, the Service Advisor, Chris, texted me saying my poor review impacted his pay, and that my review wasnt warranted because I had a company fleet vehicle and I wasn't paying for it. I told him, if he wanted better reviews he should be more transparent for his customers.
