Poor customer service
The models I was interested they had them all listed over msrp and weren't willing to negotiate down. I was trading in a car and they had my keys. When they came back with their offer I said I wouldn't be interested at that price and asked for my keys so I could leave. The sales guy left and came back about 5 minutes later with a different offer and still without my keys. At this point they are holding me there against my will by not returning my personal property so I can leave. So I have to ask again, much less polite, for the keys to the car I own so I could be on my way. Probably another 3 minutes go by and some other guy comes to the table to give me my keys and tried to present another offer. Didn't wait to see his offer, just grabbed my keys and left. Wasn't a friendly or welcoming experience, if I am to consider a Kia again I will drive 130 miles out of my way to the dealer in Waterloo before considering giving any business to these people.

Kia of Des Moines is the BEST
I will never purchase a car from anyone other than Kia if Des Moines. My sales person was Ed Arnold. He went over and above to get me exactly what I wanted at the price I asked for!!! Thank you Ed, and thank you Kia!!

Service
I was told a few month ago that my Kia had qualified for a free undercoating. They said it would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours. My appointment was at 10am. I arrived at 9:45 and my vehicle was done by 11:30. Also, during that time it had needed a engine check & if everything was clear, I would get a free oil change! So they proceeded with that as well. Overall, the wait was right on time & the staff was very helpful. I shopped while I waited & they offered to drive me where I needed to go. That to me is great customer service!

Repair of 2011 Kia Sorento
I was satisfied w/the service. They found the problem the check engine light was on and put on the new part after calling me and advising what they discovered and how they wanted to take care of the problem. They provided me with the total cost of the repair and stuck to it. They thought it might need new plugs and when I advised them that the plugs were replaced recently they cleaned them up for me. I thought they did an excellent job and am happy w/ the service and repair provided.

oil change
took my new car in for oil change and they gave my KIA Forte a complete check got me on right away and the service was excellent. they even washed my car but the front still was dirty but not bad

2009 Kia Spectra 5 60,000 mile service!
Kia of Des Moines is the best dealership and service provider in the Des Moines area! We are giving this car to our grandson in Urbandale and wanted it in the best condition possible when we turned it over to him - his first car!

Great car purchasing experience!
I was in a car accident in June and my 18 year old vehicle was totalled. I was in need of a new car prior to the accident but was hesitant because I do not have great credit. I called Kia just to ask some questions. I spoke with Patrick Grady and I had a wonderful experience. He listened to me and took time to help me. My experience was life changing. I was able to get a new vehicle that fit my needs and my budget. Patrick made every part of the process so easy. I will absolutely recommend him to anyone I know looking for a vehicle. I'm so happy to have a new, reliable vehicle. It honestly puts a smile on my face just to know that I don't have to worry about transportation!!
