I bought a 19 Ram in September of 2024, I was planning on

I bought a 19 Ram in September of 2024, I was planning on writing a review regardless of my experience and just wanted to wait to see how the truck holds up. There were many issues with my purchase from Prestman auto but I would like to disclose that the staff were very nice. 1st issue, I flew in from another state to pick up the truck. I was told the truck was in great condition no real damage other then some very minor dings. I know it had a rebuilt title but the people I spoke with on the phone assured me that the truck was repaired professionally and did not have a bent frame. I asked twice about the frame and was told it was not bent. I come to get the truck it has a belt sounding noise other than that truck drives great. Well the belt squeak was lifters and it’s 8k for a replacement The frame is definitely bent, the “professionals” altered the alignment of the body panels to hide it. I was able to see this once I got it home. They resprayed the front clip of the truck and the paint is close but doesn’t match. It isn’t noticeable until it gets wet. ITS NOW CHIPPING IN MANY PLACES ON THE HOOD. 2nd issue, I have a 780 credit score and wanted to finance part of the payment. Interest rates were likely going to be in the 6 percent range and was told even with the rebuilt title financing wouldn’t be an issue and that I would likely fall in to that 6percent range. I ended up leaving there with a 11% interest rate… and was told just to refinance once I get home because I shouldn’t be in that high of an interest loan… tired and just wanting to be home I was just over it. As I go to leave I asked if the truck will be washed before I leave because it was a little dirty during the test drive, I was assured it will be spotless. Get out there and it’s still dirty, probably because once it gets wet it’s obvious that the paint doesn’t match. I asked again if it will be washed while I’m looking at the truck and the salesman told me it was washed. Again tired and over the experience I just wanted to be home and had a 10 hour drive so said F it. I realize there is a risk buying a vehicle with a rebuilt title but I now see I was definitely deceived on the trucks condition, given the opportunity I would not buy a vehicle again from Prestman, they seem definitely to say whatever you like to get you in the door. Over all the truck will need about 13k to look like a 45k truck.

This is my 3rd car I’ve purchased from Prestman.

This is my 3rd car I’ve purchased from Prestman. I keep coming back because of their no-nonsense business ethics. Orin (sp?) was awesome! He didn’t “muddy the waters” with a lot of sales jargon and answered every question I had with precision, gave his honest opinion about the cars I test drove. He even told me why he liked the Impreza over the Crosstrek even though the Crosstrek was a higher price. Tracy, the finance guy, was excellent and very personable. Absolutely no pressure at all about add-ons etc. He was fast and treated me like I was his best and only customer. My family has purchased from Prestman for years. They are fabulous!

I emailed the dealer via the online form, as I am

I emailed the dealer via the online form, as I am interested in the immediate purchase of a car they had listed. The dealer never contacted me back. It would have been nice if they at least responded that it's no longer available.

The most hassle-free car buying experience I have ever

The most hassle-free car buying experience I have ever had. Salesman Bill was upfront, with history and condition of the vehicle. Finance rep Chris did his job in under 15 minutes. It just does not get any easier than that. Thanks to all the stall at Prestman's. To all future Prestman's customers, I hope that you are as pleased as I was.

Though I ended up buying a different car from another

Though I ended up buying a different car from another dealership, my experience with Prestman Auto was excellent. They were very professional kind, considerate, and willing to help me throughout the process from start to finish. I would definitely consider buying a car from them again!

Great service.

Great service. Couldn’t ask to be treated any better. They made sure I was squared away and happy with everything while purchasing a car. Highly recommended.

This could not have been a worse experience.

This could not have been a worse experience. I bought my car at the end of 2022, it was a 2020 Mazda CX5 with only 10,000 miles. The salesman convinced me to go over my budget because "I deserved it". In the first year of owning the car I had it in the repair shop 3 times, each time they had it for weeks at a time and I would be without transportation. First the main computer went out, then an axle broke while I was just driving in my neighborhood, then the body repair they did came loose. Here I am now moved out of state, I know no one and am a single mother, and I have yet another issue with the car. This is FOUR major issues in just over a year. I have now put out over $400 just in the last couple weeks trying to figure out why I'm jump starting my car every morning. Yes, I've replaced the battery. My parents also bought a car there (I warned them not to) and they have put out over $4000 in repairs on a nearly new car as well. This place is making shoddy, bandaid repairs and flipping the cars while acting like the nice guy. The last time I spoke with their service dept I was told I was a hysterical woman who "went from zero to 100". Of course I was angry, I had been approx 3 months out of a year without my car. Gross behavior and unprofessional practices.
