Stopped in hoping to find someone to work with that was decent. No one here is. George Valentgas (sales mngr) TIM LONG (finance) attempted to sell me a... Subaru BASE model for $28.550. Hiding the sticker decal from the window, Being an out of state travel NURSE, and working in a total Pandemic, they were. Unethical, in such a hurry to get me sign the iPad being from out of town. Then when I quested the price, they 'stupidly' stated "Oh the prices just went up" Save yourself from this place go to ANY OTHER DELAERSHIP, all other places were decent. I heard through other places. Other dealerships don't even work with Quirk Works, don't try to exchange other cars, because NO ONE RESPECTS THIS DELAERSHIP.
Walked into Quirk Subaru, Braintree; health with GEORGE VALENTGAS (Manager of sales) comical, and TIM LONG finance (disgraceful). Was lied to as a nurse... from out of town, really needing a new vehicle. Attempted to see me a BASE SUBARU FORESTER for 28,500?!* Really??. Hid the MSRP from the window, refused to review features when asked 5-6 times. Never reviewed financing on a paper, rushed me into signing an IPAD where the price was hid, to HOLD the deal. Very shady, these people lack any moral compass, TIM LONG never reviewed any subaru amenities that a new car buyer should be aware of. They were SO GREEDY to have me out the door and sign a bad deal, I was forced to call the AG and administrator for DAN J QUIRK, then GEORGE, acted all "WHAT did I do, help me learn from this lesson?" what a joke. These two don't belong working in car sales, the need to go somewhere else. BUYER BEWARE!!! Don't call don't walk in. SAVE YOURSELF.
It was definitely my worst car shopping experience. I stopped by and test drove a car that I was interested in. The sale person walked me back to his desk... and asked me to sign the contract which includes all the options for the car. I tried to talk him thru what I really wanted and asked if any promotion for the model. THEN he yelled at me and asked me to leave because I didn’t sign the purchase agreement after a test drive. Excuse me? How many ppl would sign right after a test drive. So I and 2 other friends went to a smaller dealership in newton for 3 WRX 2 months later.
I did quite a bit of research and emailed several dealerships. Tim Long was my contact and got him down to a price of $18,000 for a 2018 Subaru Impreza... 2.0i. When I confirmed the price w/him and mentioned I wanted to lease, he got all mad at changed the price of the car on me to $19,000. When I called him out he tried giving me the run around and say things to make it seem like I didn't know what I was talking about. He kept insisting that he was honoring the agreed upon price and told me to call the finance department so they could explain it. I wasn't born yesterday and had several outside sources confirm that he was offering the car for $19k not the $18k we agreed upon. BOTTOM LINE, go anywhere but Quirks. He stopped answering emails because he knew I was no rookie to the games car salesmen(women) play. Shame on you and shame on quirk. Thankfully, I found a true, honest dealership. Bye Felicia
My praise to Joanne, Ryan, and Xavier. However, the manager who came to help derailed the conversation and was the worst sales guy in my long history... of purchasing cars. If you come here and only deal with the good ones, you will be lucky. However, if you get that bad apples, run! We bought a Crosstrek somewhere else where they really got to know us, respected us and catered to customer service.
This was our first experience with Subaru in general and Quirk Works specifically. Our Sales Person was Ryan Monseque and he took the pain right out of... leasing a car! His customer service was excellent, always respectful and very in touch with our timeframe needs because we live in Maine. We are very much enjoying our new 2018 Outback and would like to thank Ryan for making that happen!

Be aware that the (discounted) Quirk price does not include the destination fee. Also, the discount is a combination of rebates that many buyers will... not qualify for. Definitely read the disclaimer and call to confirm the price that YOU would be paying before coming, and write down the name of the person who answers your phone. Quirk has a good inventory. Their price is reasonable, although not as low as the displayed "Quirk price". The salesperson was good.
Great Service, I was very satisfied with the service. My car was diagnosed quickly. The required repairs were presented in clear and transparent manner,... including pricing. The repair was done on time. The service representative was kind and very knowledgeable.
First off the place is a complete dump. The paint is peeling and is unsuitable for any to breathe in. The salesmanager, chris colins, insulted my wife,... Alice, and used extremely high pressure sales tactics to try and stuff us into a vehicle we truly couldn't afford. When we said no, they literally would not allow us to leave while they said insulting things, and tried to force us to buy. My wife cried as we finally convinced them we'd come back the next day. I WILL NEVER RETURN THEIR AGAIN!
