No one like visiting a car dealership! But today i purchased my second vehicle from Toyota of Easley and just like the first time, they made our buying experience a breeze. We had the pleasure of working with Michael A. Michael was knowledgeable in our buying experience and we took care of us from start to finish! With customer service like this it would be hard to purchase else where!

I purchased a new 2023 4Runner 4x4 off-road TRD premium

I purchased a new 2023 4Runner 4x4 off-road TRD premium from Toyota of Easley. Sometime after a cross threaded bolt on the skid plate was replaced, I noticed that the Main Skid plate was missing from my vehicle. This is an off road skid plate that is on every 4x4 I’ve every seen. I know I saw one on my vehicle when I crawled under my 4Runner after the first oil change. I retired as a master certified technician so I knew exactly what I was looking at. Arriving at the dealership I spoke directly with the service manager and he took me back in the shop as soon as my vehicle was up on a lift. Standing under my vehicle, I showed them where the missing skid plate was when I purchased the vehicle. The manger and 3or4 technicians were there. The manager went into an area to check on something. He came back and announced that the skid plate I was talking about only can on the pro model. He offered to sell me one at a discount and install it for free. I declined. I realized I was getting nowhere with them. They had made up their minds. So I left. I am furious about this. I know what was there when I purchased the vehicle. I’m through with Toyota of Easley. I live in Taylors. I have a dealership much closer to my home.

I took a look at your VIN and confirmined that your 2023 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium does not come equipped with a TRD skid plate from the factory. I apologize, Mr. Morgan. The pricing you mentioned, is the price for a Synthetic Oil change and multi point inspection. We are currently offering a Vacation Special where the rotation is included in the $79,95 at no charge. I"m sorry that you did not receive the rotation but we would be happy to perform that service at no charge for you at a later date.

On your website it says oil change, tire rotation, multi point inspection for 79.99. I paid 89.45. So yes I was charged for that and I didn’t get the service. Again this dealership is dishonest. This one is closer to me so was hoping for a better experience but I will be going back to Toyota of Greenville. At least when they make a mistake they make it right.
