I have a 2017 Toyota Sienna van that has had a ramp added
I have a 2017 Toyota Sienna van that has had a ramp added to it to make it wheelchair accessible for my husband. I noticed the van was leaking transmission fluid and took it to WCT for service. Did not know that they do not “service” vehicles but “replace” parts only. They told me my van, which only has 42,340 miles on it, needed a NEW transmission, tires and spark plugs - to the tune of more than $12,000. Sounds like a joke at best, ripping off customers at worst. Took the van to a transmission specialist who replaced a by-pass valve and the van is running well - at a fraction of WCT’s quote. And still West Coast Toyota charged me $210 for a “drive ability diagnostic”. Since the van was given an incorrect assessment of its problem, I want my $210 refunded. Fred, the West Coast Toyota customer contact said they have to pay their people who do the service so I have to pay - no refund. Fred also admitted that WCT is the most expensive service shop around. Do not go to West Coast Toyota for service - they do not service vehicles only replace with very expensive parts. No integrity!

This dealership is the worst. I am not sure how it has a rating above 2 on any rating website! Do not get scammed by this dealership like they tried to do with me! What you think is a deal turns out to be a hoax in person! Herlica Garcia told me one price for a 2017 Highlander Hybrid Ltd and to ask for Danny Ortiz. When I get there, the salesmen acted like they did not know what I was talking about. So I showed them the email that I received from Herlica Garcia, quoting West Coast Toyota's PRICE to me for the vehicle. Their response was OOOOOHHHHHHH, well you can't get that.... They lied to me just so I would go to their location and they could try to sell me something I do not want. What jerks!!!! You have lots of options in Southern California when purchasing a car, if you are smart you will avoid these schmucks."

This was my first time experience with West Coast Toyota and it was one experience I won’t forget!
