Had to leave my Outback at the dealer over night because of a needed part. They provided courtesy shuttle service home and brought me back the next day.... The car was ready before noon. Excellent.

Bill Brienza provides a pleasant buying experience. He is friendly and knowledgeable. He can help you with New VWs or Used Subarus. We were there to... buy a Subaru. Things went smoothly and we picked up our Forester within the week. The prices are a good value. Our first touch with the dealership was through our internet request. Tim McCutchan was the first contact and he was pleasant and pointed us in the right direction for what we were looking for. We would buy from Riverhead Bay again and would be happy to work with Bill again.

I recently bought a car here and had a great experience, unlike in other dealerships (to be fair, not all on the island) where I'd been confronted with... a lot of aggressive & annoying sales tactics. This was nothing like that. My salesperson was Ed McGarr and he was extremely low-key and patient with me, even though I asked a lot of questions--I really liked the fact that he had a background in fraud prevention and was comfortable with me checking out some of the numbers. (He was also willing to help with some special circumstances my husband & I had.) Everything just went incredibly smoothly. The finance manager was great too, even though I seem to have forgotten his name temporarily (I know where to get it, it's out in the car, it's just a bit too cold at the moment for me to go out & check!). I may have benefited from the fact that I was buying my car, a Legacy, in December, a time that didn't seem incredibly busy for Subaru dealers in my area, who all seemed to be waiting for the 2017 Impreza to come in, but still, I found their low-pressure and reasonable approach quite refreshing.
I brought my car in for a air bag recall. My registration sticker was removed (I know my sticker was on my windshield for a fact) the Subaru manager told... me there is no way possible that my sticker was removed at his facility. He told me they do not remove registration stickers. Before I spoke to the Subaru manager I spoke to a nice man from Volkswagen and he told me they remove them sometimes for different reason and the mechanics usually put them on their toolbox to make sure they replace them. The Subaru manager then told me they could've thought my car was a trade in and that's why it could've been removed. The mechanic that worked on my car broke a piece on the side of the dash board so now it hangs by the drivers side door. A piece was broken off where my air conditioner is - now I can not turn my knob all the way to cold and he made scratches above my steering wheel. I was told this was a 1 day process I dropped off my car at 7:30 am and returned at 4:45 pm my car was not ready. But the ironic thing is my husband was called at 10:30 am and asked if he wants a diagnostic test done. He said no and therefore, my car made no money for their facility. They do not treat your vehicle with respect. I will never use their facility again. Total disrespect for my property. I give them 0 stars.
