I really liked the truck so I told him I was very interested my sales guy John told me he was going to run my credit and get back with me days goes on he calls me back and says only one bank would approve me and they wanted 15,000 down and I told him OK I was interested so me and my wife and kids do the 3 Hour Drive to the other coast and pick up the truck and sign papers everything said & done I left that dealership around 6:25 ish make it on the interstate engine reduced power light comes on call my sales guy and tell him that I’m going to get it checked out once I get close to home to the nearest dealership.fast forward another 100 miles truck engine makes knocking noise starts spitting oil at this point it’s dark and mosquitoes are attacking us I call Jon and he tells me he’s going call his boss while he does that I called a tow truck wait and hour and few minutes tow truck gets here take truck to mechanic shop they paid for tow truck next morning truck spends 2 weeks in mechanic shop nothing yet from owner only jon at this point motor is going to need serious work engine is locked and seized. I was told by Jon that they were going to pick up the truck. I wait. Nobody picks up the truck some excuse about a broken winch. A few more days nothing. So at this point, I realize they are playing games with me.and my life I have already spent 2000$ in vehicle rentals because they sold me a lemon this is tomorrow will be going on 3 weeks I’m still walking without truck so I am going to go to ford and replace this diesel 16,000 motor on my own and Just take these guys to court please don’t be stupid like me stay away shop charged I believe 500$ to look into motor and dealer paid that btw fast forward January 2024 I still haven’t drove truck it’s been two months that screwed me trucks at ford now getting new motor installed 14k later being paid for by me they aren’t putting in a penny stay away from this place this guy is a crook he ruined everything for me PLEASE STAY AWAY

Excellent Experience

I purchased a 2017 Honda Pilot from this dealer through their online advertising. Carry Westmoreland was the sales manager who worked with us. It was the best experience we have ever had purchasing a vehicle. He provided all the documentation and a full carfax. He arranged for the transportation of the vehicle. It arrived from another state in less than 24 hours of the purchase. And the Honda was exactly as advertised. I found Carry to be honest and helpful, without pressure, during the transaction. It really was a pleasure working with him.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!

So i bought a Hyundai Kona 2018 from this dealership from MR TG Griffin and when they delivered the car was filthy. I had to spend $300 dollars to get it detail before i could drive it. Also i gave them my car as a down payment, 2 hole month went by and GM financial call me asking me for the payment and when i call them the owner told me that they have no record that i traded in my car. So i called Mr. Griffin and he told me that they left my car abandoned in the same parking lot that i traded in my car. So i called the police and the police told me to take my car home and now i have to paid for both cars because they did not honored the initial deal. please STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!! they will take advantage of you!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Service on used car

Steve Hejek is not to be trusted. He never sent a title, extra key, and car book which he promised. The service for making the car driveable were not completed. The inside of the car was clean but the outside was not waxed, rear fender light was loose, left headlight did not work, engine light on, etc.

2018 Cadillac Escalade bought in September

Sammy Garcia and Raoul Cleveland sold me a 2018 Escalade. This is the how the experience went: A broken windshield, a broken side seat, 2 broken air vents that didn't work, a dent in the driver door, a detached roof rack on the driver side, a 5 inch long piece of missing chrome paint on the mirror and multiple scratches. Oh and they advertise delivering the vehicle to you, they deliver your $50k vehicle COMPLETELY covered in bugs and dirty and with no gas in it. I had to spend $50 right off the bat to get the car i just bought cleaned before i could show my it to my wife. This was in the beginning of September when this all happened and the vehicle was bought. They BS you and tell you they'll fix it. All the while they are telling my local Cadillac dealership who is supposed to be doing the repairs NOT to order the repair parts because they are going to try and find them cheaper. They also tired to say there was GRAY area in the damage, It literally never left my driveway or got turned on after they delivered it and i took all the pictures of the damage in my driveway, so no, nice try. THEN they tried to tell me to file a Fraudulent claim under my insurance to cover the windshield "since they were going to cover the rest". So not only now has it been a month with NOTHING repaired and almost no communication but they are now trying to get my to commit insurance fraud to cover the damaged vehicle they sold me. I have ALL of this documented with pictures and recorded conversations I've had with them and with the local Cadillac dealership who they wont let fix my car. This is the place you hear about on the news that take advantage of people and screw people out of there hard earned money and give the rest of the car dealerships a bad name.

Dealer response

Luke I am sorry this has not been handled in a timely matter. General motors has been on strike for almost 2 months and finally ended on the 16th. Parts have not available. You were told this be the Cadillac dealer when you took it in for inspection. Most of the items you listed were being covered under warranty. We said we would repair the items that were not covered when the warranty work was being done by Cadillac. When we delivered the car to you it did have some bugs on it and we offered to wash it for you while we did the paperwork and you said don't worry about it. Now that the strike is over The parts should be in soon. Raoul Cleveland

For Patrick and Todd

I saw an ad for a 2014 Genesis Coupe with 52k miles the night before I went in. The next day I called them up and was greeted by Patrick, I asked if I could come in and see the car and I was told that it was okay. I arrived maybe 3 or 4 hours later and saw the car, it was in great condition. Took it for a spin with Patrick and when we came back I was ready for paperwork. I ended up buying the car and traded in my 2018 Civic LX with only 6800 miles, I was pleased when they gave me some room with my positive equity on the car. Usually used car dealerships are pretty scummy when it comes to trade ins. Another thing is that they financed me through Launch, which is local to my area in Palm Bay, so it's nice that the banks they do business with are reputable. I'm very happy with the car. Patrick and Todd were genuinely nice dudes, weren't aggressive about their sales tactics. One thing that I should mention though, if you come here, you're buying a used car. Especially if it's a sports car, come in with the mindset that it needs all fluids replaced/topped as well as some parts. The engine bay makes a slight clicking/cricket noise upon closer inspection so I'm going to perform maintenance on it as well as take it to the local Hyundai dealership to investigate. My own research suggested that the fuel injectors that Hyundai's GDi engine makes that noise and is normal on all of them, but better safe than sorry. My Genesis Coupe actually has factory warranty on it for another 15 months/9k miles, it's almost unheard of at used car lots, so I'm definitely going to take advantage of that.

Good Communication

Spoke with them only by phone. The sales dept. was very useful and answer all my questions. Much better than any other car dealer I have deal with.

Thank you Tony Norton!

My husband and I were looking for a quality used car. We looked at the local dealers here in Melbourne and figured we would have to go to Orlando or another larger city to find what we were looking for. We did some research online to cut down on our driving time. We found the car we were looking for at Gen-X Motors on Wickham Road. After visiting the lot, discussing the 2015 Expedition and doing a test driving we were thrilled to know we could buy our car locally! The car deal we received was fair and when the purchase was done we realized it was the fastest car purchase we have ever made from any dealer. Tony Norton was our sales person. When we mentioned a few items that needed to be looked at by a mechanic the items were taken care of. We are so grateful to a company that stands behind their sales. We are happy to tell our family and friends about the fair deal we received, about the quality cars on the lot, a company that cares about the customer?s satisfaction, easy to deal with and the people are friendly. Thank you Tony and Gen-X! We are so happy with our used car.

GEN X Delivers

We negotiated via phone across the state of Florida, and without any cash risked, drove 4 hours to look at the car. GEN X had it ready for our drive back to Ft. Myers. The buying process was straight forward and friendly. No hassling. No hassle. The small staff pays attention to personal as well as professional concerns. They made a very arduous car search, worthwhile in the end. We're happy with GEN X, and we love the car.
