I cannot say enough good things about Gwinnett Place Honda. I purchased my first Honda Civic and they maintained the service on the vehicle, I never had... to worry about anything. As a women I was never upsold services or taken advantage of, my car ran like a charm. I recently traded in that vehicle and upgraded to a newer Honda Civic. The trade in and purchasing process went very well and I am loving my new vehicle. The dealership is easy to work with and the service professionals always have a smile and willing to listen and give advice. Thank you Mark Anthony and Reggie for making my second purchase at Gwinnett Place Honda a stress free buying experience.
I knew exactly what I wanted and went into some detail telling the guy what I wanted, even picked out specific models. Corey told me to come in and we'd... work something out. Immediately in the door he tries to push me towards a hybrid. I told him I was not interested in the hybrid. I test drove one car and he said that car's mileage and age wouldn't let me finance that car, only if I paid cash. Test drove another, filled out the paperwork, and after two hours in their showroom (on my birthday, not that it matters) they brought out the finance manager who told me there was only one car on their entire lot thaat I would be allowed to finance. Guess what car it was? The hybrid. What a coincidence! These people are liars and do not care how much of your time they waste.
I was amazed at the buying experience. Gwinnett Honda is definitely our only choice from now on. This was our first new car purchase and we were treated... like royalty. Zero pressure. A great deal. And they bent over backwards to make some last minute changes. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Fantastic!
Nathan-thank you so much for choosing us to purchase your first new car! We are so happy you had a great first experience! Thank you so much for this ...wonderful feedback and your business! Hope you are enjoying your new Odyssey! We look forward to serving you again in the future! -Grace Kwon, Digital Marketing Manager at Gwinnett Place Honda
Externally bad experience with dealership !!!!!!! Not because of price but the way it all went. I called Manager upfront day before for price and was... assured to match price. I went there , spent 3 hours and at the end was told there was miscommunication and we can’t offer the same price. I was told that we are the biggest dealer in having car stock and even if they don’t have the same color car, they will arrange without charge and will give loner car till my car reaches dealership. When I asked for the same at dealership next morning , they simply denied saying we are not sure who called and why he promised like that. They even asked me to pay transfer fee for car to get it from some other dealer ship. I would not recommend any one to go there . I wasted half day of my life there.
Kendyl and Joy did a great job! G Place Honda is always on my list when I am considering a car purchase.
This has been a frustrating experience. They were unable to deliver on promises made which required my 8 month pregnant wife (who works and takes care... of our toddler) to make multiple trips to the dealership because they didn't do what they had stated. We bought a used car from the dealership (Honda Odyssey). The vehicle was overall in okay shape with some scratches outside. The problem was the inside had claw marks going through the door linings from the previous owner's dog. We negotiated to have them fixed by the dealer and agreed to buy the vehicle. We made an agreement for my wife to bring back the vehicle to have it detailed, some touch up paint, and to have the front driver and passenger doors repaired from the claw marks. We were told it would take around 20-30 minutes to detail and do the minor repairs. My pregnant wife and our year and half old went back on the specified day after leaving a message and not having anyone return her call. She waited around around 3 hrs before being told that they could not complete everything. Manager Curtis Simmons then said that he had misunderstood what kind of interior the vehicle had and that contrary to what was discussed in the sales negotiations, he could not patch it up and the interior door panels would have to be replaced. He said the shop could cover some of it but we would have to pay another $150. My wife said that was unacceptable and that I wouldn't agree to it either. At this point she said Simmons gave her a "there there little wifey" type look and told her again to talk it over with her husband and see what I wanted to do. She was told to come back on yet another day (3rd trip after buying the vehicle). Hearing that my wife somehow wasn't capable of making a decision was pretty frustrating to me. My wife is very smart and hard working. I think she was unfairly judged as being incapable of making a decision on her own without her husband there because she is pregnant and was taking care of another child while at the store. I called and left a message for Mr. Simmons explaining that the situation was ridiculous and they could either readjust the cost of the vehicle, or fix it, but I wasn't going to pay for repairs which were supposed to be done earlier. I also let him know that I didn't appreciate the dealership trying to yank my wife around like she didn't have anything better to do than it for hours in a car dealership trying to keep a toddler reasonably happy. Simmons responded that he talked to service and they would take care of it. My wife makes her 3rd trip to the dealership and drops off the van. She picks it up a couple days later (4th trip) and drives off only to look to the passenger side and see that they didn't repair the claw marks on the passenger side. Now we simply don't have time to go back again and deal with a dealership in too big of a hurry to take care of details or be concerned with providing customer service. Simmons is clearly too busy because he agreed to fix it, leading us to purchase the vehicle, before he looked inside at the interior and that he wasn't able to make sure the vehicle had been properly fixed before telling us it was ready to be picked up. The finance department was also very pushy about their in-home extended warranty. It is a bit sad because we purchased our vehicle on our second visit because Patrick, our salesperson, was so friendly with us and was not at all pushy. He seems like a genuinely nice person and I'd be happy to have him show me vehicles again, but I don't think I'd bother dealing with Gwinnett Place Honda again. There are lots of dealerships that can immediately take care of issues and respect their customer's time.
Gwinnett Place Honda was by far the best dealership that I've ever been to in my life, most of the staff we're extra friendly and courteous, the facility... was clean and very well organized. Aminata Doumbia my sales consultant and Marquis Taylor my finance manager were absolutely awesome, they both went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of all the way. I would reccommend Gwinnett Place Honda to any and everyone looking to buy a car.
I purchased a brand new 2016 CR-V from Gwinnett Place Honda and I'm in love! It was my first time buying a new car without my parents and they not only... got me a good deal and had me at the payment I wanted but made me feel confident in my purchase. I would definitely recommend checking here when looking to get a new car.
We had the best experience buying a very nice, late model, certified, pre-owned CR-V from Tony Samad at this dealership. Tony was really awesome - no... pressure sales, knew what we wanted and respected what we could afford, got us the best deal he could, and even set us up with some perks. When we didn't find the perfect fit the first visit, he very politely followed up with us to let us know when he got something in that was perfect (and, it WAS perfect!). He has stayed in contact with us (excellent, old-school salesman that he is), and we intend to buy from him again. Highly recommend him! ~Robin Y.
I've been a customer at gwinett place Honda for almost 4 yrs and this is the second time I leave and my oil change wasn't done properly. I live 30 miles... away on the south side of Atlanta and I thought Gwinnett place Honda would give me excellent service I was wrong.. They didn't complete my oil change and did not replenish my fluids.. This is the second time this has happened. I talked to the service manager Mr. Kim which he stated that he will top my gas off in my car. That really don't cover my time , or energy or frustration. Please as a customer to the next Honda customer make sure you check behind that service department after each service . It's horrible.. I'm going to a closer Honda service department.
