Cal West Motors

First, I was alerted to this family owned place by a friend who is a Mercedes Benz S500 Class fan. He sent me a link and I liked the price, the auto history and the dealership. Matt was my rep and he's a good decent guy who isn't into high pressure sales. He also respected that I did my homework and as a woman in Silicon Valley, I have the means to get my own car like a big girl. I'd say come here for the inventory (high quality, reasonable prices) and stay for the friendly service and efficient process.

Brian is a very friendly guy and worked with me throughout the whole process of the exact car I wanted. He went with me for a test drive and explained how everything on the car worked perfectly. It truly is an excellent car for someone who lives in California, and wasn't too expensive of a purchase at all. I highly recommend this business.

I'm from Marin county. Looked at 10 cars, including one from Cal west in san Leandro. Took me 3 weekends to check all these out. All the others claimed to be excellent and were a waste of my time. At the end, only Cal west represented their used vehicle truthfully and delivered. Finally drove home with my quality used car with a positive carfax report, great driving experience. All my misgivings in driving far to an unknown dealership were replaced with trust. Glad I crossed counties to find Calwest. Will be back and recommend this place to friends and family!

Needed a vehicle after my prized VW JETTA was totaled. Had no idea what type of vehicle I wanted or where to start looking. Only thing I was sure of was I didn't want a car payment. My husband brought me to Cal West Motors, having bought a car here himself several years ago. Matt approached letting us know he was there to help should we have questions or if we had a specific vehicle in mind and to take our time. I looked around freely until, I spotted a 2008 PT Cruiser convertible, had always been intrigued with them (blame the Addams family), Matt pulled the vehicle out of the lot and off we went. He is very personable, which put me at ease, he was concise and provided answers to all my questions. I bought the car and I'm enjoying riding in the breeze! Need a car definitely go see Matt!

By far the nicest used car lot in the Bay Area! Matt was very warm and helpful. I spent the day here getting an awesome used truck. They took mine in as a trade-in when most places wouldn't. Family-like and comfortable. I'm a woman with a baby and they treated me with respect and even watched the baby while I warmed formula in the kitchen. Amazing!

Came in to look at a truck and ended up staying the whole day! Haha. Matt, and Brandon were awesome to work with and friendly as could be. Only reason it's not a perfect score was because the computer were taking forever to get my financing. So I did spend the majority of the day there. But I walked away with a great truck at a good price. Anyone who supports small family owned businesses should deff give this place a go!

Brian helped my parents and I find a great used car that I have already fell in love with. He made to process very easy and I didn't feel pressured at all to make the decision of which car to buy. I would definitely recommend Cal West to anyone shopping for cars.
