Salesperson was good at his job but sold me a lemon. The 2026 GLA was purchased 5 weeks ago and it has been at the service department 3 times with 2 loaners. The car bucks both starting and stopping, the radio changes stations by itself and the volume gets louder by itself. They claim that the car is fine. The 2 loaners that I had were perfect. NOT A BIT OF HELP from service or dealership. SO COMPLETELY UNHAPPY with dealership and service department.

We truly want every customer to feel confident and happy with their vehicle, and we take your concerns seriously. Regarding the transmission, our shop foreman drove with you to observe exactly what you were experiencing. After the inspection, he confirmed that the shifting you are feeling is normal and intended behavior for the 2026 GLA. We understand that may not be the answer you were hoping for, but we want to assure you it is performing as designed. As for the radio, we were unable to duplicate the issue during our inspections. Out of an abundance of caution, we replaced the steering wheel controls, and we also noted that the same behavior occurred in the loaner vehicle you used. Our team's best assessment is that the steering wheel controls may be making contact with your hands during turns, which is a common and easy adjustment to get used to in a new vehicle. We would welcome the opportunity to sit down with you again and go through both concerns together. Our goal is for you to feel completely comfortable in your new car.
