BE VERY WEARY!!!!!

We bought a car from this place, but it's been a disappointment. The tires, supposedly new, started causing problems within a month. Even after replacing one, the issues persisted. Just last week, a piece of one of these "new" tires came off, putting my father in a dangerous situation on the freeway. This car has only been driven 9,000 miles since we got it. These tires can't be new--they're falling apart. Thankfully, we're okay, but Philips won't take responsibility and cover the cost of new tires. We're seeking legal advice to protect our rights and prevent others from facing similar situations. This is just not right, and those involved should be ashamed. Be very weary if these used car sales men!

Online Shopper From Texas

I located a Ford pickup online. Had never heard of Phillips Auto. I read the dealership reviews and also the car fax report. I liked what I read so I contacted the dealership via email. I was put in contact with Darrick and he was very helpful in answering all my questions. I let Darrick know this would be an online purchase and no test drive. He was very helpful giving me all the information and also setting up the shipping to Texas. The paperwork was done thru the mail and also in with credit union. The truck arrived tonight and during the shipping time the driver was in contact with me the whole time. This was a very stress free purchase for me, especially considering it was bought online. The truck looked great, both inside and out and drove great. I highly recommend Phillips Auto and also for those wanting to buy online and live out of the area or out of state. They carry a great selection of low mileage vehicles. Thanks again Phillips Auto!

FISKER KARMA 2012! NIGHTMARE WITH DEALER

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH EMPLOYEE/MANAGER!!!!!!!!! PUTTING MY BABY AT RISK AND ON BOARD ON THIS DAMAGE VEHICLE THAT WAS PURCHASE AT THIS DEALER AND BROKE DOWN WITHIN A DAY OF PURCHASE, SMOKE COMING OUT OF HOOD!!! READ MY STORY TO AVOID THIS TYPE OF DEALERS. I had just purchase this 2012 Fisker Karma vehicle from Phillips Auto of Newport Beach Phone: 949-574-7777 and was help by (Niko)Sales person, per Niko all recalls where performed properly to this vehicle. 1st day of driving the vehicle out of dealer I notice Navigation system not working at all and within 40 miles I start refilling gas tank, it seem to be burning lots of gas for no reason on an EV Car and it continued doing the same pattern on my way to Sacramento by refilling entire tank constantly. The next day I try to charge the Vehicle and the charger had permanent Red Blinking Light, it did Not charge the vehicle. Phillips Dealer provided me with a "DAMAGE CHARGER" on a very expensive vehicle. Next I call Niko SELLS person at Phillips dealer and told him about the charger issue too, I hire an electrician thinking that my Just Remodel Home had issues with the Electrical Outlets, per electrician all my outlets are good, Electrician suggested that most likely the issue was the charger. In the morning after waking up the same next day of the purchase I try to start the vehicle and No luck, it did NOT start and Check Engine light was on. I call the dealer and Niko told me to follow a few steps to see if that will help to restart. NO LUCK. So Niko Markovich from Phillips Dealer advise me to call Alex at Elite Motors OC. He had done all repair orders on this Vehicle. I call Alex multiply times, per Alex advice to do a hard reset by disconnecting some wire hardness that is located under the hood on passenger side. This seem to work but check engine light was still ON, I mentioned this to Alex the mechanic and he suggested that most likely this light will go OFF in a few days after driving vehicle. I call Niko again and updated him with the situation and mentioned to him that most likely do to my schedule I will be taking the car on the next Friday the to SF at Pat's Garage to get inspected and see if they can advise or find the issue with the check engine light and charging issue. Vehicle was parked most of the time in my garage and the following day I decide to drive it and get my 4 year old Giovanni and nephew from school. At arrival I picked them up and just within seconds """SMOKE"""" start coming out under the Hood, this freak me out since I had my baby on the back of vehicle and turn off vehicle right away thinking the vehicle may burst in flames and got my son and nephew out of vehicle. We step away from vehicle and notice lots of Green fluid liquid coming out under vehicle too. I let about 20 minutes passed and open hood, I notice green fluid coming out from cover top of container by the front driver side. I call Niko again and he mentioned to take it to the shop in SF and keep him updated, he will talk to his manager Michael Alibrando and update him with my current situation. Once the vehicle was property diagnose by the technician at Pat's Garage in SF they provided me with the results and estimate to fixed this vehicle that I had just purchase from Phillips Auto with all types of problems. I talk to Nico/sells Manger at Phillips and they just kept ignoring me and not taking my calls once I send them the estimate for about $5K to fix this vehicle that I had just purchase from them. THEY STOP HAVING CONTACT WITH ME AND NOTHING WAS RESOLVED, I HAD TO PAY FOR ALL REPAIRS DONE AND PERFORMED TO THE JUST 1 DAY PURCHASE VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALER.

Awesome

Been looking specifically for a Jaguar XJ8 for some time. Buying a used one sight unseen is quite nerving. Never sure what your going to get. So based on previous reviews of the dealership on various sites l wired my money and waited. And I was not disappointed. Car is great, drives great and I’m happy with my decision. Tim and Richard were great to work with. They were quick, friendly and very responsive to my questions.

I viewed the McLaren on line and was very impressed by what I saw. I first communicated via text and phone to see if a deal was possible. I was able to come to an agreement and drove down to the dealership from central CA. The car looked as good in person as it did on the website. I dealt with Richard Salmonson to complete the deal. Richard was very professional in completing the deal. My young boys were with me and they spoke to Richard about many other cars. Richard took the time to discuss other cars with the boys and to share his passion for various cars. I would recommend Phillips Auto to anyone who is looking for a luxury car and specifically I would recommend you work with Richard.

Great Overall experience!

I just finished the process of trading in my car and purchasing a Mercedes benz C63 from this dealership. The experience I had here was excellent. This is the best customer service I've received at any dealer so far. As soon as I walked in the door Morgan greeted me and sat me down to explain everything with my trade. After that, we went out to test drive multiple cars. I found the one I really liked and we went on to the whole financing situation. Mike really helped me out a lot with financing. Finding a bank who would finance a younger guy with not much credit history. He worked hard to get me the best rate possible. I'm really thankful for that. He made sure I was explained the details for the loan at the end as well. Once everything was set. The owner, Malcom, came in to the office to check how my whole experience was here. Really friendly guy to talk to. He's got a great team here working with him.
