I paid $1,500 for repairs on my LS and although it was a great running car when I brought it in, they damaged the starter leaving the car inoperable. They then had it towed to my house and won’t return my calls or explain what’s going on. I can’t imagine dealing with such incompetence and lack of communication at a Kia dealership, and Lexus claims to warranty any OEM parts they install. Unfortunately Kendall Lexus doesn’t seem concerned with the reputation of Lexus vehicles. I wouldn’t recommend having them change my oil. They might return it in pieces and take no responsibility.

Glad to hear it. I tried contacting Irwin Escobar to find out why the warranty was not being honored, but after a couple of weeks of being told he’s not available but he’ll call me back I gave up on that. I thought about going into the dealership to talk to him, but he’d probably just run out the back door. I look forward to discussing this situation in detail. Thanks

Had a great service experience at Kendall Lexus
Drop my car off for a 15,000 mile service at 11:30 AM , while waiting for my Service Writer Erwin Scobar to write me up, everyone was removed from the building do to a suspected natural gas leak, the gas company, fire truck, EMT, and ambulance all showed up. At 12:15 it was found to be a false alarm. Erwin wrote me up and said me would do his best to honor the promised pick up time of 1:00 PM. At 12:45 PM Erwin called to say it was ready for pick up. Great service!

The only thing I disliked about the process of upgrading from my Lexus UX250h to the NX350h was the lack of inventory! They are allocated only 3 new hybrid NXs about the very 6-8 weeks, so if you want one you have put a deposit on it before it?s delivered! It?s hard to find exactly what you want?you don?t order it, you take what they get or continue waiting. I do, however, like the NX I received, even though the color was not my 1st choice. The NX 350h has a quieter interior, a more cushioned ride, & more interior space than the UX. It also has AWD on demand at any speed, which is an improvement over the UX?s 43 mph top speed for AWD. This is a dealership that did not add a premium for profit, above the MSRP. I think that speaks well for the dealership! Others were marking up lesser cars by $5K (for their profit) because there were so few of this size hybrid available!
