I purchased an Outback from Lance in 2012 (still have it). It was a good experience so I contacted him and discovered he was now the Manager of New Car Sales. The fact that he is still at Subaru of Gwinnett 14 years later sends a positive message about the stability and morale of the dealership. He referred me to Mathew who helped me find an Outback equipped the way I wanted and gave me a fair price with out a lot of unnecessary negotiations. Mathew was very professional, pleasant, and patient (couple in our late 70s) with us. Overall it was as pleasant an experience as possible, shopping for a new car.

Purchased a 2016 Audi here end of September 2025.
Purchased a 2016 Audi here end of September 2025. Every 250 miles i have to add a quart of oil! I scheduled a diagnostic with the service dept. When I arrived, I was told I had to leave my car up to 3 days, they were overbooked for diagnostics, AND I had to pay $185 for the diagnostic that they may not be able to repair. When I questioned WHY I was scheduled for an appt and WHY I would be charged on this car they sold me 3 months ago, they sent me to the used car sales center to speak with the manager. The sales manager could not find time to speak with me.

Undisclosed transmission issues in used vehicle purchase. I purchased a used Nissan from Subaru of Gwinnett. Shortly after purchase, the vehicle experienced serious transmission issues that were not disclosed at the time of sale. Based on the nature and timing of the failure, there are unresolved questions regarding the accuracy of the representations made about the vehicle’s condition and whether material information should have been disclosed prior to purchase. I currently have an active consumer protection complaint with the Georgia Attorney General regarding this transaction. The matter remains unresolved. I am posting this review to document my experience and to encourage other consumers to exercise caution when purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership.

Mr. Nesmith, I regret to hear you had transmission issues with your 2013 Nissan. I sympathize with you and it is unfortunate. However, This vehicle was purchased over 2 years ago and clearly designated AS-IS which you acknowledged at the time of sale. I am confident you can agree that there is no possible way to predict what a used vehicle may due 2 or 3 months down the road, much less 2 years. As a kind gesture, I will be happy to re-look at the issue for you and possibly attempt to do the work at a discounted price than what you were quoted elsewhere. Kind regards, Rich

The used car section of this dealship was very dishonest about the condition of the car and the work they put into it. They were willing to risk my safety and cost me thousands in repairs just so they could sell a car. Terrible way to run a company and treat customers.

JM, I regret That we did not meet your expectations. Since I do not have your name or the vehicle you are referring to specifically, I want to let you know a few of the pre-cautions we take. Every vehicle has a safety inspection to determine if that vehicle will meet the safety standards of our vehicle inspection checklist, which we are happy to share. As we understand different folks have different expectations, although these vehicles are mechanically inspected, We may not spend extra resources on the cosmetics in order to keep costs and price down. In addition, we also offer Subaru Certified vehicles that go through a rigid 152 point inspection and are held to a higher standard of re-conditioning. We also give free history reports in an attempt to be transparent and never mislead a potential customer of the history of a vehicle they have interest in. We also allow our customers to take the vehicle to a Technician of their choice and have it inspected by a 3rd party. We offer a no pressure, hassle free experience hoping to assist our customers with the right vehicle, at the right price.
