One of the worst dealership experiences I've ever experienced. Their leasing manager is insulting and doesn't really seem like he's in it to make a deal... with the customer. My brother and I came to the dealership to see the options of their lease deals, thinking its the end of the year, they might be able to make a great leasing deal for us on a 2019 Mazda 3. Our trade value was about $1500 to $2000 at other dealerships we visited, Mazda came in $2000 lower than everyone else. We gave the associate our target monthly payment for a lease of $200. Their leasing manager came back to us with a minimum $400 payment where as other dealerships were coming in at around $300 to start negotiating. Not even in the same realm. It almost seemed like they were trying to have us buy the car instead of lease it. When we told him that this is $200 more than what we wanted, he tried to get all the exact details of how we purchased our trade in and basically try to make us feel stupid for even trying to lease one of their prestigious Mazdas. At the end of the conversation, he could have said something to the effect of - This is the best we can do, I'm sorry. But instead he said - It sounds like you got a champagne taste on a beer budget. Super insulting. Mind you, a 2019 Mazda 3 is in the same price realm as a 2019 Honda Civic and the Honda was giving us more realistic lease options than what Mazda was giving us. And they sure didn't make us feel insulted when the deal couldn't get there.
Spoke with Kahi back a month and a half ago and I expressed myself multiple times I was months out of looking at the vehicle and he was not putting pressure... on me to buy at all. Instead he was very helpful of helping me choosing a car and color and trim. Very informative and respectful! ASK FOR HIM!
