Great service
My2018Subaru Outback center screen went blank in September last year . It took four months for the parts to come in. But, Tina kept me informed about status of the order. Finally, the parts came last week and the screen was fixed .Pleased with the service. Derrick was very friendly,efficient and helpful.Definitely, will go back for service.

service and extended warranty repair suck
today my wife took our 2015 Chevy Colorado in for them to look into noise in the front related to ether bad fan belts or pulleys and also to check for a bad thermostat because our temp gage was going up and down in temp while driving it 2 months ago you replaced the water pump" our appointment was 10 am on 1/13/21 1 pm comes no call my wife calls to check on our truck oh it has been in yet your next in line fine np then we call back at 430 pm on 1/13/21 no answer my wife leaves a message you call back and say oh my mechanic looked at it heard the noise in the front but could not find a issue with the thermostat you had my truck all day after making a appointment for 10 am and did nothing your own words to me at 430pm on 1/13/21 was my mechanic is still trying to find out what's wrong and if you want the thermostat replaced at your request u have to pay for it what are we supposed to do drive the truck n blow the engine" total waste of time never take your car or truck here because on 1/14/21 i,m picking up my truck to take it somewhere else because they told me i can take it somewhere else what a joke your dealership is we even told you a master mechanic recommends changing the thermostat

Brought my rogue in said monroe said bad wheel bearing so they drive my rogue bring it back put on lift and listen and they said rear wheel bearing bad i knew wheel bearing bad but didnt know what one they charged me 59.40 just to drive my car and listen to it running on lift are u kidding me u did no work to it at all what a joke

Finding SUV that works for us.
We went to royal Subaru hoping to find an SUV after going all over and having no luck. We met “Uncle” Bill OGorman there, and he helped us find a Subaru Forester Touring that we fell in love with. It is a lovely light green color. It fits all of my needs, as i am handicapped and have trouble getting in and out of cars. Bill went above and beyond making sure that we were comfortable, and that we knew and tried every feature in the vehicle. We went on an extended trial test ride, and he went over every detail that we asked about, and then some. When in the office, he made sure we were comfortable, offering us snacks and a drink of juice or water. That was very thought of him, as i have trouble sitting for long periods. He did a very through job of explaining all the other details that we needed to know before we got the car. We would highly recommend Bill to anyone who comes there, and had a very pleasant experience at Royal Subaru of Cortland.

Service Department
I took my vehicle to their service department for a safety recall on an airbag, When I picked up my vehicle, the windshield was cracked. Coincidentally(?), Dave, the service manager was in the lot at the time. Royal knew the time of the expected pick up, so I wonder if he was waiting for me, to see if I'd notice. It was a huge crack which I noticed as soon as I sat down. Dave told me the quickest way was to go through my insurance, which would probably cover it. But I wanted to know what happened. It was the passenger side airbag that was replaced. That was also the side where the windshield was cracked. Dave said there were cameras and he would "investigate" the incident. After a few days of not hearing from him, I called back. He told me the footage was "inconclusive." So, ultimately, Royal refused to accept responsibility. Also, on my receipt, their "multi point inspection" showed that there was nothing wrong with the windshield. I will NEVER take my vehicle to the Royal service department again.

all hassles
I hit a deer with my car and we decided to take the insurance check and put towards a newer subaru ... our neighbor wanted my car and was going to buy it outright so we had a nice down payment to put on a newer outback. We went on the website over the weekend, no pricing available - sent an e-mail - no response after 2 business days. Then called, got reception and call was forwarded to voicemail. Called again asked to talk to someone - talked with Rob in sales, but he couldn't give pricing on the 2 vehicles we were interested in - had to talk to a sales manager.

I've had car repair (body work) done at Royal, and the staff there is so pleasant and professional, explains things thoroughly, and always makes me feel like I'm in very good hands. The waiting area is pleasant. I always bring remote work and am able to work while I wait. Last time I picked up my car, it looked like new!
