Great Service!
Camelback Ford serviced my 2006 Explorer until I sold it with 194,000 miles on it. I got top Kelly Blue Book for it because it was meticulously cared for. Their service is top notch and very friendly. From the service rep to the front office staff (especially Kayla) that makes sure you have a quick ride back home, a rental or you get checked out promptly. They are the best!

Displeasure with Camelback Ford
On 12/17/16 I purchased a 2016 Mustang GT from Camelback Ford. This was a Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. They stress that it is “certified” and that it has gone through a 172- point inspection. One of the things on that inspection report is glass: Windshield, Side and Rear Window Inspection. They provided a signed inspection report at the time of purchase stating that all of the glass was in good shape. About two weeks after purchasing the vehicle I had the windows tinted. After tinting the windows it was obvious that the back glass had many scratches. Probably 20 different scratches, some deep enough you can catch your fingernail in them. I did not notice the scratches before the tint. I did not inspect it closely because Camelback Ford said it was good. I had a signed inspection report. I contacted Camelback Ford and told them about the issue. I talked with Russ Royal (not sure of the spelling). He seemed like a reasonable person, and told me to bring the car in so he could look at it. I drove up to Camelback Ford after work on 1/19/17. I was told Russ was in meetings and another employee was sent out to talk with me. I did not get this person’s name because I assumed Russ would be out to meet with me at some point. It was an overcast and rainy day. In order to see the scratches the car needed to be pulled under some cover and the rain wiped off the glass. I was not asked to do this; he did not even make an attempt to wipe off the glass. I wiped off a portion of the window so he could see what I saw. He snapped one picture, of one portion of the scratches. He said that the scratches would be acceptable as “certified” glass because it was not actually broken or cracked. I then asked, if there had been a dent in the quarter panel if that would also be considered acceptable? His response was that it would depend where the dent was located. If seemed they had no intention of doing anything for me from the start, because he did not even take the time to wipe the raindrops off and look at the entire glass. I told the employee I would wait until Russ was free for a minute so I could talk with him. I waited about an hour. The same employee that did not bother to really look at the glass came and told me that Russ would not be free for a few more hours, and there was nothing they could do for me, and I should leave. I questioned him and asked whether not replacing a $400 piece of glass was worth upsetting a new and potential future customer. He stated there was nothing he could do for me; Russ would not be coming out to talk with me, that I may as well leave. Keep in mind that this is a certified vehicle which they have said they inspected and that the glass was fine. I am not upset that they did not catch the scratches on the initial inspection. It would have been hard to see without the tint unless you were looking. However, with the tint and the sun, the scratches stand out and are easy to see. The inspector of the glass at Camelback Ford should have caught this. It is NOT minor glass damage. I am upset with the attitude of this employee, of just blowing it off. How can he state that the glass meets Ford’s standards for a certified car when he did not even wipe off the glass to look at it? He also stated the window-tint business may have been responsible. You tint the inside of the window, not the outside and I was there when they tinted the glass. It was not done there! That is just another excuse he could put out there so the dealership would not have to explain why they did not want to take responsibility. I am also upset that Russ could not find 15 minutes to look at the car. I was there for a couple of hours and I would have waited longer. Camelback Ford had no intention of doing anything from the start but could not be honest about it. If you purchase a certified vehicle from Camelback Ford, you’re money ahead to take the time to check all points on the 172 point inspection yourself, before you write the check.

I find it interesting that Camelback has a nice response for all of the positive reviews and not a thing to say about the negative ones. I have received no calls, no feedback of any kind.
Any issues I had have been rectified
I had recently posted an unpleasant review, got a call from Gabe and Natasha, both wanted to fix the issue. Gabe rectified the problem and explain the process of what was going on. This dealer seems to care about their cutsomers, when they see someone is upset they take action. That's all that's needed to happen and they did it.

They rectified the issue, Gabe was very nice and very professional about the situation. If i could i would change my rating to a 5 star, i will go back to him when i'm ready to purchase a Focus RS in the next couple years.
Slow customer service
I needed to buy a car today due to the fact I just turned my VW diesel in from the diesel buy back. So no car and a big check to go buy another car. I found a car at Camelback Ford and emailed them at 9am this morning to get a total Price. After about 3 hours I did get a final price. I was thinking to myself it it takes that long just to get a total how long will it take to buy the car. I'm in sales and service myself and it should not take more than a few min. They just did not act like they wanted to sell a car today.

Excellent experience
Purchased a 2017 Continental today from this location. Customer service was outstanding! From the time we stepped onto the lot we were greeted friendly from each person we encountered. The buying experience was painless and the sales person and manager were straightforward, no games. This was one of the best car buying experiences ever! Went with my father who has literally purchased 19 vehicles in the course of his life and he was equally as pleased. I understand they are under new management and are actively working to ensure a positive customer experience, which they did! Special shout out to Nick and Bill who helped us. Fantastic job to them both; I would recommend this location without hesitation.

Sales and Finance, A++
Jordan, our sales guy, was awesome. Went in looking for an old truck and he flipped us to a two year old mom car with certified pre owned. Didn't give up on his customer. Made the deal and it was easy going from start to finish. The ASM who sealed the deal and shook our hands was definitely a good team player. Our finance guy, Thomas, was great too. Not only did he find the best interest rate but he also got us a longer warranty without raising the payment. Loved our experience and will definitely rely on them for future purchases!!!

They found what no one else could and fixed it right
After purchasing the car from Sanderson Lincoln in north phoenix, I had nothing but rattling issues, turn signals and windows not working properly. I took the car back to Sanderson Lincoln and they told me that I didn't know how to work the power windows and they couldn't find anything else wrong with the car and didn't even try. They would take the car over night and return it the next day with the same issues. I was able to contact Lincoln Concierge and told them what was going on and after that, I was told by Sanderson Management that they no longer wanted my business and to never come back for service or to buy another car. I was finally directed to Camelback Lincoln Service and they not only saw the SERVICE BULLETINS connected to the VIN # of my car that would have corrected the turn signal and power window malfunctions but were also able to find and correct the rattling noise that was a broken connector for the entire center control system for the a/c and radio. They replaced the entire thing and POOF, problem solved. I was called by my service advisor Rodger at Camelback Lincoln Service and informed of the progress that they were making and updated on work done as it was being performed and really appreciated being kept informed along the way. I would definitely recommend them as a servicing dealership and will take my car there from now on as well as buy my next Lincoln from them.

Contract Change & Lack Of Communication
I purchased a vehicle on September 16, 2016. I signed a contract with an agreed upon interest rate and payment amount I felt comfortable with. I was told I would know financing by Monday the 19th. I never heard back from them. I called over and over. I left messages that were unreturned. I spoke to people who said they check into it and call me right back. This went on for two weeks. I finally receive a call on Thursday the 29th. I was told I had a different interest rate with almost a $50 a month higher payment than agreed upon. I said no this is not what I agreed to. They continued to try and get me to sign off on a new interest rate and payment. Having a friend in finance I know I didn't have to accept this. Bullying people into taking something other than what was agreed on is shady business practice, You can't change the conditions of a signed contract. I was able to get my trade in vehicle back and void the sale. My trade in was missing the dash mat. Thomas Coggins the finance person said he would mail me a $50.00 check so I could replace it. Also the sales director Michael McKenna phoned me the next day trying to get me back down there saying it was a mistake that my contract never should of been voided because it was a done deal. More bullying and I said no the deal they were giving me is not what I signed on the contract. I then told him how my dash mat was missing. He promised to order me a new one. Even send me pictures so he ordered the right one I had. It is now one week later and he has not returned my calls or my emails and I have not received a check or a dash mat.

Great Staff
The staff was great. I love the truck. Only negative was that one of the posts on cars.com had a stock photo for a 4 door truck when it was actually a 2 door. Big change in price.
