Purchase of a new Camry
Purchased a new vehicle with the assistance of Stephanie Samuelson (internet sales) and Eddie Crouse(sales), both were extremely friendly and helpful! They went out of their way to make the experience very easy and pleasant. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new Toyota!
I was very impressed by the quality of the dealership and the genuine friendliness of all the employees I worked with. The sales associate, the finance manager and the insurance manager all worked very hard to get me the best possible deal. The insurance manager suggested I stay with my current insurance instead of trying to coerce me to by another one! I highly recommend them!

This was my first experience with Hoffman but I’ve heard good things about them. From beginning to end, my experience was excellent. Dianna was efficient, pleasant and professional when scheduling my appointment. My mechanic Jeremy McLauren gave an excellent point by point inspection video of my vehicle and I especially appreciated seeing everything he saw. His recommendations were clear, concise and helpful. I received a 13 page report complete with pictures. Jeremy was very professional and I appreciate his ability to show me his concerns and recommendations for observation. I was kept apprised throughout the day of progress, findings and cost expectations.Chris was professional and courteous throughout and gave a good summation of the work completed when I came to pick up my car. Poor Customer Service From Service Manager
The Service Manager, Mike Fitzgerald, at Hoffman Toyota (36 Albany Turnpike, West Simsbury, CT 06092) has been disrespectful and unprofessional on numerous occasions to myself and my wife over the years. The most recent interaction with him on June 16th, 2020 was beyond anything I have ever encountered in my life. My wife’s car was to be picked up at our house at 8:30am for a safety recall issued by Toyota. At 8:45am I called Toyota to see the status of the pickup only to be told after 10 minutes on the phone that they are running late, and they will be there by 10:15am to pickup the car. After about an hour of the car being serviced, my wife received a call from the service advisor Chris Barnes who mentions nothing about the safety recall status but immediately goes into spitting off prices on having “this fixed” and “that fixed” all coming to about $800 and he would need an answer a soon as possible. No documentation was provided at that point on anything he was saying over the phone so not sure who in their right mind would just say “sure go for it” over the phone without actually seeing on paper what he was speaking of or at least going out ang getting a second opinion. This tactic used is something I have seen time and time again from this service department and it just down right wrong to do. I immediately called Mike Fitzgerald and asked for clarification on to how this car was brought in for a safety recall fix, nothing else and yet here you are trying to sell me on $800 worth of service items which I had never given permission for them to even review. Not an apology, not an ounce of understanding and furthermore not an ounce of caring what his employees are doing. Every conversation I have had with him he has been wrong and never admits to their faults. Mike Fitzgerald himself ends up dropping my car back off at my house (interesting figuring he did not pick it up) and proceeds to speak to me on my driveway as though we did not have a heated argument on the phone not even 20 minutes prior where he hung up on me. When I tried bringing it up again, he just said over and over like a broken record that I need to stop arguing, what he and his employees do is right, and I am wrong about everything I am speaking of. He then tries to have me sign paperwork which I refuse because the week before they serviced my RAV4 and I did not have to sign anything, so why would I sign something now, especially after the service was not performed as requested by myself. He then angrily gets into his car; tells me he does not need my signature anyway and I am no longer wanted at their service department and to take my busines elsewhere. After Mike Fitzgerald left the premises, I read over the paperwork only do find out that all service items they tried to get my wife to say okay to fixing over the phone was not $800, but closer to $1,200. On top of that the paperwork left for me clearly shows that nothing is in the “red” only “yellow” meaning “may require future attention” not “requires immediate attention”. The front brakes they pushed so hard to have replaced clearly state on the paperwork “vehicle still has time before this service is due”. I called Hoffman Toyota and asked to speak to Mike Fitzgerald’s supervisor as I had this complaint to make. The lady on the phone said she would reach out to the appropriate personal and they would contact me by the end of the day. I have yet to hear from anyone. I reached out to Toyota Corporation and left a complaint with them as well. They told me they contacted Hoffman Toyota and that their customer relations manager would call me back by the end of the day on June 18th. It is now June 20th and I have yet to hear from anyone. I guess neither Hoffman Toyota nor Toyota Corporation cares that much about these issues and just move on to the next person.

Great service. The only issue was the time it took to get everything fixed. Appointment was at 7:45 am I was told it takes .45 min but the car needed extra service and it was ready by noon time.
I wanted to thank Dan Savoia in service for all his help. My car was totaled and he helped me understand what the process was. Dan made it an easy transition and provided great customer service. He updated me with all the information answered all my questions. Returned all my calls. He also help with deciding on another vehicle. Dan is friendly and provided a stress-free experience.
