Three months ago I wrote a not so glowing review about the first two visits to Karl’s service center. Because I did I got an imediate reply from Amy Hind... asking to be notified of my next visit. I did and Amy was on it! After 5 minutes of arriving Amy came to see me and let me know they were working on my truck. A half hour later the 10,000 mile service was finished! In and out, no prob. Thanks again Amy!
I had dreaded looking for a new car! Brandy at Karl Malone changed my mind. Brandee treated me with respect, answered all of my questions, was patient... and I never felt pressured! I would recommend Brandee at Karl Malone to any and all!
Everyone and I mean everyone at Karl Malone Toyota is so friendly. From the gentlemen who sold us our Prius down to the guys in the service department... we have always had a great experience at Karl Malone. The dealership itself is beautiful and always clean. There is plenty of comfy waiting couches, free drinks and popcorn...my son LOVES coming to get the car serviced...and at 11 he can be a tough customer lol! I am always impressed with the level of customer service they have...everyone is always smiling and asks if you need anything. We get our car back in better condition than when we drop it off every time. From the complimentary car wash to topping off all my fluids and checking my tires, when I get back into my car it feels like the first day we bought it all over again!!! Thanks Karl Malone!!! :D
My car didn’t take long for the oil change and they fixed the chips in my windshield. Also, my car was washed, which was much needed. Blenda was great!!!
customer service is so bad. Not enough staff to take care of customers. When you call the operator they act very inconvenienced that you want their help... getting throught to service. They need to answer their phones.
LOOK ELSEWHERE! Came in yesterday to purchase a Tacoma. Worked with Nick and JD. Both really good guys. Within 15 mins, we reached a deal. Went through... the process of the loan and paper work. I advise them that my wife needed some time to think it over, but more than likely we can sign later in the day. We kept in contact with Nick the entire day while I was waiting for my wife to be done with work. Spoke with nick and advise him that we’ll be in to sign around 8pm. While driving from Davis county to Draper, we received a text that the truck had already sold? It was the most unprofessional business deal I have ever experience. No calls, no notice, but only a text right before finalizing the purchase. A courtesy call would’ve have been nice. Flash forward to today--Instead of making it right for their incompetence mistake, they made it worse. Manager (Brandon "bez") offered me a different color of Tacoma (lesser value) but wanted me to pay more than the truck they sold from underneath me. Yeah--making it right, means paying more money for lesser truck. This is by far the most frustrating, most nonsensical, and the most unsatisfying experience I have ever witness. This dealership does not have any ethical values or a sense of direction when it comes to loyalty or quality satisfaction.

We purchased a Corolla from this location a few years ago. We needed our emissions test done and took it to a non-Toyota shop to have this done, but the... hood of the car would not pop. We then took the car into this Toyota location to have it serviced. After 40 minutes Kevin came back and told us that the latch to the hood was "extremely rusty and had oil around it that had completely hardened". Fixing this would be $125 and would take a few more hours. We disputed this price, thinking that it was very high for what they would be doing, and were met with terrible customer service on Kevin's part. We then left and visited another non-Toyota shop where we explained what was going on. A technician immediately went out to the car and looked under it. He confirmed that there was absolutely no rust and no hardened oil around the latch. He worked on the car for less than 5 minutes and was able to pop the hood of the car. He told us that the latch was just a little dry and put a little lube on it. It is outrageous that your dealership, Toyota, completely fabricated a problem with the latch of the hood and attempted to earn $125 from us, when there was a quick and free solution. We will never be purchasing a Toyota again and will not be recommending this brand to our family and friends.
