I had an incredible new car buying experience at Briggs of Fort Scott. I couldn’t find the vehicle I wanted locally, so I traveled 450 miles to Fort Scott, Kansas. The dealership was not “paved with gold tiles” like some of the large dealerships near my home. Instead, I found a small-town dealership offering a golden experience. Even with the travel expenses included, the vehicle was less expensive than it would be if I was able to buy it locally. It was also, by far, the fastest buying process I have ever experienced, from the time I showed up to the time I was driving away with my new car. I had a great experience with the people in both sales and finance. Thank you, Steven, Brad, and Grant, for providing me with incredible service! I strongly recommend Briggs if you live in Kansas or even if you live in another part of the country like me.

They have bait and switch. They never take the bait car off their listing. It is sold.

While they may do good at selling cars they will not
While they may do good at selling cars they will not stand behind their auto repair. 5 weeks later car doing the same as when I took it in. They refuse to warranty the work

Got a used van had problems out of it after two days of
Got a used van had problems out of it after two days of having it. Called them about the problems and they waited till the 30 day warranty was up before they got back with me. The van was supposed to come with a remote for the dvd plyer and they said they would mail it to me still have not got the remote. They say they pride themselves on customer service but yet their customer service is lacking. I had we do the paperwork at least three times because they kept on messing up on it. I would think twice before buying from them again.

Best place to buy a car! Ask for frank! He will make sure you leave happy! I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else! I will go back for sure!

Good luck getting off their mailing list.
My late spouse bought a vehicle from Briggs in 2015. They have wanted to buy back the vehicle because it is a low mileage vehicle. There is now way in H~l that they are getting the truck back. I called them multiple times to get my wife's name removed from the mailing list and I even spoke to the manager and he promised that it would be taken care of. So much for the promise of any one associated with that dealership. Their promises are worth the air they are written on. Avoid this dealership at all costs

Great Place to Purchase a Vehicle
I was on my way to Pittsburg, Ks. from Leavenworth. When I got to Fort Scott, I started having problems with my car. I pulled into Briggs to see if they could help me with my car issues. Super nice group of people who work there. They bent over backwards to help me. I ended up purchasing a vehicle instead of having my car fixed. Kevin Filby was amazing...he showed me several different vehicles that were in my price range. That was in July of 2021. I ended up getting a Toyota Highlander and I love it! I highly recommend Briggs!

Sold the same car twice! Beware!
This dealership sold me a car, and then sold it again to another person. I went through all of the paper work and signed for the car on a Saturday. They were supposed to bring the car to me on Monday and pick up my trade. Instead I got a call on Monday saying the vehicle had been sold to someone else! The vehicle was very specific and I haven’t been able to find another one near by. They were supposed to be finding me another car, but it’s been over a week and they have nothing. I called twice today to check on the status and they never got back with me. 😡🤯

Awesome salesperson
My husband and I bought a 2012 dodge 2500 diesel and it needed a new sensor my salesperson Steven Tyler went above and beyond and made sure the truck was in grear working condition when I picked it back up. It got 2 new key fobs, oil change, new turbo, upper amf lower ball joints. I couldn't have asked for a better experience buying this truck.
