$2,400 in damage
My Daughter bought a new 2021 corral xle as 22’s have a lot of cut backs. She bought August 1 2021. Extras window tint and front end coating done two weeks later. BOTH DETAILED COMPANIES DONE IN 1DAY. Was told by management these are 5 star ratings companies. Car was bought out dirty, glue in 4 different spots on sides and rear, bubble in tinted windows, dirty headliner. This is private owned Toyota and not worth a dime caring about the cars or the people who buy them. If you see this be warned. Told management don’t call me don’t come near me. Cost me $2,400 to restore to new again. So much in pride in somewhere you work 😢

Don’t take your car here…After 5 years I found a new mechanic. By the way - I have taken my car to them for service every 10,000 miles since 2017. the last two years I’ve had alarming concerns and problems with their service and repairs. . The last service they “brushed off the leaves and dust” and re-installed a filter . I paid them $1000 in 2020 to repair an oil leak. Last service the oil was so low it didn’t show on the stick. And they printed me a service report that stated that I had deferred their suggested repair….that would be the $1000 repair I paid them to do in 2020. .they installed new brakes that squeezed so loudly for days afterwards that I had to return.. the customer service tech told me it was normal for brakes to squeek. Them they wanted to charge to adjust. This squeek was very loud and not normal - the problem was installation quality. My battery died 3 weeks while I was shopping with my grandkids after a full service appointment - a full service where you get a an inspection checklist. . The battery passed inspection. It turns out that the battery was end of life. Something changed - their staff are no longer concerned about quality and no longer trustworthy .

Stay Away
Please stay away from this location had better experience at Titus Will Toyota I’n the past I’ve owned numerous Toyota vehicles. I’ve always viewed Toyota as great all around customer service and everything was squared away from sale to finance this place is a xxxx show I’ve never purchased a new Toyota that didn’t have basic carpet floor mats and when I added an accessorie such as running boards I received paperwork regarding the work to be done I added accessories this location ensured to include it in the price but nothing is in the paperwork so with no floor mats and the upsell I will never purchase a Toyota from this location again and I will return this vehicle tommorow

Searched the entire United States for one particular part. Finally found this part, and it was the last complete set in the entire United States. Toyota of Puyallup actually had it in stock to my surprise. Dealing with the parts manager exclusively from 1800 miles away, Eric made everything happen. I received my parts, nothing was damaged and everything was exactly as expected. All of this happened over the phone. The guys in the parts department were awesome, honest and very real. I am ecstatic that they were able to get me the parts that I needed. They are the kind of people that you want to do business with. All of those guys deserve a big fat raise. Working with honest people makes me want to continue doing business with them and that’s how it should be, no pressure. old-school customer service, it’s the way business should be done. Can’t complement the parts department enough. If you are a Toyota car guy, and you’re not afraid to have a conversation about parts, I would highly recommend these guys if you are in the PNW.

Gave them benefit of doubt multiple times but stopped...
Gave them benefit of doubt multiple times but stopped using them after ~ 25 years and multiple new car purchases. Their service department isn't reliable and I've had everything from misdiagnosis to proceeding with a repair without authorization. They can't even read the early drop off instructions reliably to replace windshield wipers during an oil change (3 misses so far). If this is how they treat customers who have purchased 6+ vehicles then watch out. I just got tired of fighting with them over everything. The latest straws that broke this camel's back: 1) Sales: I ordered (yet another) new Tacoma for delivery end of June 2021 and because I did not update the salesperson on a regular basis (customer's obligation don't you know) they cancelled my order and released the truck for sale. Again this is to a customer with decades of loyalty and multiple lease and new SUV and truck purchases. I suppose loyalty only flows one way at Toyota of Puyallup (TOP). 2) Service: Took a 2011 RAV4 in for "Pre-purchase evaluation for the cost of ~ $220.00. TOP said it needed, among other things, a new transmission ($4,500). I drove vehicle and nothing seemed amiss so we took to two independent transmission shops in Tacoma. No transmission repair required was their findings... from people who are looking for business. We ended up passing on the car to be on safe side. This RAV4 was purchased for $11,500 by CarMax in Puyallup the following week. My bad for not trusting the current data I had in front of me and not coupling it with my past experience. I am slow but I finally learned to avoid Toyota of Puyallup. BTW... I just have to ask where are all these "awards" they are claiming coming from? Are they just internal ribbons for participation?

I would recommend this dealership for purchasing a vehicle. I would NOT recommend there service department. Had them change my breaks at 40,000.00 miles which was very early to need front breaks. But I did it thinking maybe manufacture issue from purchasing it new. Then at 60,000.00 my truck has a shimmy to it and they tell me I need new breaks again. Now I have NEVER been hard on my breaks and I actually down shift a lot while driving. So I take my truck home and my boyfriend and I go to do my breaks and rotors. There is no way they ever changed my breaks. Completely lied to me and never touched them. When I bought my truck brand new in 2017 I was admit no one will touch my truck except Toyota. NOPE not now. Do not trust them what so ever. 300.00 for front breaks and they supposedly resurface rotors. No way they ever did that. I was literally barley past my warranty. If they were a good company they would have fixed them do to the short time period. But true colors showed big time in this incident.

I would rate them at a 0. We bought a certified used vehicle from them & have nothing but problems. We mentioned the tires looked bare when we bought it, they assured us they were ok...once the rain started this fall I had to go buy new tires for safety. We had only driven about 1500 miles before we had to get new tires because they were unsafe. All of the tires were measured after they were removed & they did not meet Toyota’s “certified” tread. They also did not check the rain sensor during their “certified” inspection and it had to be replaced. Now I have a window that does not stay fully up and leaks when it is washed. They sold us a certified piece of crap. Do not buy a certified car from them, who knows what you will get. Very disappointed! I feel like I cannot trust my vehicle to be safe for my family. Never again.

I brought my Tundra in for a timing belt service which cost $2200. After driving the truck home I noticed a pool of coolant under the truck. I returned to Toyota of Puyallup and told them of the leak. They informed me that they needed to order a hose clamp and when it arrived they would repair it and that it would be covered. Today I brought the truck in for the repair only to be told that a coolant port on the throttle body was bent and I needed to get a new throttle body. Their theory was that when the throttle body spacer was installed 14 years ago it was damaged and that adding new fluid somehow caused it to leak. I’ve been around cars my entire life, I own too many, and I am constantly working on them. Am I to believe that something that was damaged 14 years ago just started leaking? My belief is this was damaged during the timing belt repair. Now I have no option but to get it fixed and at an additional cost to me. As a customer of Toyota of Puyallup for the past 4 years, this will be the last time I have my Tundra serviced at this location. As a consumer and a business owner, I know this is not how to take care of loyal customers.

They didn't finish the job...
So I took my Toyota Corolla in for a recall on the airbags. I avoid dealership at all costs but this was something I had to do. I dropped my car off in the morning before work. They took their time in getting a loner car for me but eventually I was on my way. A couple hours later, I get the text of things that were found wrong with my car during the free inspection. I declined to have anymore service done than the airbags. After work, I returned the loaner, signed the paperwork for the airbags, and received the keys to my car. They didn't mention the inspection or offer me paperwork on that. The glove box was hanging there half way open and not even on its hinges. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I walked back in and after 20 minutes, they got it back into place and closed. There was no acknowledgement that they gave me back my car without completing their job. In addition to that issue, there are grease hand prints inside of my car. I understand that they didn't wash it but now it is dirtier than when I had brought it in. I am absolutely disappointed and will continue to avoid dealerships.
