BUYERS BEWARE!!! AUTOMAXX/MAXIMUM FINANCE I recently purchased a used car from Automaxx, a local BHPH metroplex used car dealer. They gave me a 6 month warranty for an 09 GMC Yukon SLT w roughly 135k miles. I highly overpaid due to credit issues. I put down 3k and I never saw that reflect in my online account. When I asked, I never got a straight answer. After 7 month ($500 month payments) the transmission completely went out, almost causing a crash on the hwy. On top of that, it was overheating. I took it back to the dealership, they offered to rebuild the transmission, but I would need to fix the overheating($600 included their labor) and one side of the engine mount needed to be replaced (200). They had my car for a total of 4 weeks. They couldn't lend me a rental because I had no license. I was expected to maintain my payments, while I had no car, keep my job, and pay for the additional work over 3 months. I did all of this somehow. I got my car back and a month after it overheated again. I called the dealership and Guy, who communicated with me the first time, said I would need to take it to another mechanic. I was still paying for the original mechanic bill. I took it to a referred mechanic who fixed an issue that was in another location other than the part the dealership replaced, which cost another $400. Another month goes by, it overheats. By this time I needed to get a loan to fix the vehicle. I get it fixed for $500 because the dealership refused to get me a difft vehicle unless I put 1500 down and none of my payments would carry over. Another month goes by, and im 4 payments behind, and I lost my other vehicle because I couldn't afford to pay the title loan. So I cut my losses and let them repo the vehicle. I scheduled an appointment to pick up my personal belongings after getting a new car (which was like pulling teeth and wasn't thoroughly explained) I show up to get belongings and they make me wait an hour. I start getting frustrated and ask for a time frame, they wouldnt give me one. I complained and said I was about to call the police, then my stuff wad magically outside within seconds. My wife noticed 2 things missing, a necklace and a phone holder for the car. My wife goes back to ask about them because they had nothing itemized, just a record of my payments, on the paper they gave me. They hassled her and told her it was 20 minutes away and someone would have to drive back to see if they were still there. They somehow reappeared with her necklace less than 15 minutes later (they lied and said was 20 min away) but couldnt find the phone holder. The worst part about this whole ordeal is a black man walked up to their office, and my wife came out with the necklace, telling me what just happened to the man who just walked in. He was told by the same manager handing my wife her necklace that all of his personal items now belonged to the dealership. He was furious and asked if that was legal. My wife told him otherwise and walked out. After she told me what they told him I ran up there and confronted their managrment as well as the man being lied to. I told him to file a police report, and as soon as I said so, they said they would get his things, which only took them 5 minutes, and mine an hour... This place is crooked from top to bottom. Everything is branched out into difft companies, automaxx, maximum finance, and their "3rd party" mechanics so they can blameshift on one another PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THESE CROOKS!

Doesn't honor warranties
Doesnt honor warranties...suburban smokes and it's been back 2 times.. Everytime it came back from there mechanic still having same issue it burns oil and smokes.. This is not something you see when you buy a $30,000 vehicle should happen.. The experience I've had with their service manager was not pleasant.. Buyer beware one going to buy from this company..

auto Maxx Crowley rd
Auto Maxx was awsome, the staff was very nice and very professional. They conducted a contest in which they gave away a BMW 745i and out of 260 thousand entries I was randomly selected and won the vehicle. It was a great experience for me and my family!!!!!!!
