Had THE BEST car buying experience that I have ever had at Arapahoe Subaru. Bryan Brown is THE BEST young man. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. This is my 5th. Subaru. I wouldn’t drive another brand.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had one of the most frustrating and dishonest experiences of my life at AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe while trying to purchase a 2023 Cadillac XT6. When I first saw the vehicle online, it looked clean with no visible issues. But when I arrived at the dealership, the front bumper was damaged and partially detached. There were also visible scratches on the body. The salesperson, Bryan Brown, assured me that all defects would be professionally repaired if I moved forward with the purchase. Trusting their word turned out to be a huge mistake. I bought the car based on that promise, but they didn’t even give me the paperwork at the time. They said the documents would be ready once the repairs were complete. A few days later, I contacted Bryan. He told me the car was going through final detailing and would be ready soon. When I showed up to pick up the vehicle, the condition was shocking. The windshield was cracked, and some new scratches had appeared. It was clear they either didn’t repair the car properly or didn’t care enough to inspect it. The vehicle is coming from the inspection and repair, and they do not notice the huge crack on the windshield? How is even that possible? Bryan apologized and asked for a few more days. I waited again. Then—out of nowhere—he messaged me saying they weren’t going to do any more work on the car and didn’t want to waste my time anymore. After wasting two weeks of my time. I decided to return the car and requested a refund. Movin Dias assured me it would take “no longer than 3-4 business days.” It took over a week. Worse, when I called to check if the refund was ready, they said yes—so I went to pick it up. They made me and my pregnant wife wait for two hours, only to say the check wasn’t ready and that I should come back the next day. This entire process—from start to finish—was a complete nightmare. They didn’t keep their word, wasted my time, held onto my money for weeks, and disrespected me and my family. They come across as friendly at first, but ultimately care only about themselves and the sale. Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with AutoNation—especially this location. I will never do business with them again, and I strongly urge others to stay away.

Professional and friendly staff made car buying/trade in a breeze! Bryan Brown is a gem - helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Scott Chau was quick, kind and helpful in finalizing the purchase of my old car. Cars are stressful and they made the process less so!

Second time coming here to purchase a vehicle and this
Second time coming here to purchase a vehicle and this experience was just as good as the first one. Very friendly and courteous every step of the way. Didn’t try to lowball me on offers or even value of trade in. If anything they rounded my trade in up and really slashed things down to help me make it to my target goal for monthly payments. Definitely recommend.

Ryan was an effective sales associate who demonstrated a genuine understanding of my requirements and preferences. He assisted me in selecting a suitable vehicle. However, the finance department’s handling of the situation was unsatisfactory. Sahir failed to recognize that my brother is an employee of the company and did not apply the family discount. Consequently, we were overcharged and required the finance department to make additional efforts to rectify the error.

I have owned Subarus for over twenty years and this was the worst service experience I have ever had. I took my (impeccably maintained with just over 100k miles) 04 Forester XT in for an AC repair - while they were under the hood I requested that they keep an eye out for any potential oil leaks. At this point they insisted I needed a new power steering pump - despite having an indie shop I love, I figured, the vehicle is already there, I'll get it over and done with. Sure, I knew their labor rates were higher, but I generally believe you get what you pay for, and thought with their "experienced" technicians, I would have my car back in great working order within a week. They gave me a loaner, which was the single good part of the experience the only reason this is a 2-star and not a 1-star review, but I looked forward to getting my Forester back for its weekly hiking trip with my dog. Fast forward to SEVEN WEEKS and $3k later, I still didn't have my car. Every single time another week went by, I had to reach out for the status. They gave it back twice worse than before making awful noises and throwing a CEL, which they kept blaming on the negligible aftermarket parts on the car, prior shops, anything but taking accountability for their own errors. Meanwhile, one employee solicited the sale of my unicorn Forester (which I just wanted back and repaired) and another pushed a lease on the loaner vehicle! Showing their true colors of "sell sell sell" was not a good look under the circumstances. After the third time not being the charm, I went elsewhere. The other shop found misdiagnosis of the check engine light code, an oil leak that AutoNation should have caught, and charged a fraction of the cost to fix everything in a single afternoon. If I’d let AutoNation continue, I would probably be another thousand poorer and still be throwing a CEL. Be aware that not only are their labor rates about twice the local average, but they seemingly charge a minimum of 2.5 hours labor for every job, no matter how small. I'll be a Subaru owner for life but will never return to AutoNation for service or my next new or used vehicle, and deeply regret taking my Forester there for repairs.
