I recently purchased a vehicle from Manheim Imports and the decision to deal with them was in part based on the numerous positive reviews listed online.... I live roughly 4 hours away from Manheim, PA but happened across a vehicle on their website that caught my eye. Both the vehicle listing and Ken Boak, a salesman, claimed that the vehicle had a BMW installed Dinan S2 package which greatly appealed to me. Ken also told me that the vehicle was in sterling condition and perfect inside and out which seemed unusual for a used vehicle. After Ken’s absolute statement concerning the condition, I had Ken send me pictures to at least verify that the full S2 package was installed as I had been led to believe. Both on the phone and via email, Ken was far less than candid about why core pieces of the package were not on the car and eventually admitted only the S2 tuner was installed. I asked him outright why he wasn’t being forthright and direct when I asked specific questions. Instead of clarifying a miscommunication or apologizing for making a mistake, Ken sent me a tersely worded email indicating that he was offended by my question and based on his 20 years selling cars and 1000s of happy customers he would never try to mislead a customer. I then thought perhaps I was off the mark and our conversation was a genuine miscommunication. Despite these issues, I was still interested in the car and I drove the 4 hours to Manheim Imports to purchase it. Upon arriving the car was absolutely filthy; the red leather seats were black with grime, the inside of the car was covered in pollen and dirt, the wheel lugs were rusted, the front fender had scraped a curb, and the steering wheel BMW emblem had a massive dent in it (BMW charged me $1500 to fix this potential air bag issue). I purchased the car for its specific features, but was at a loss for how Ken felt no need to tell me about the actual condition of the vehicle before I drove out to purchase it. Additionally, I asked that they ship me new wheel lugs to replace the rusted ones to which both Ken Boak and Karl White agreed and acknowledged. Over a month later and the situation deteriorated further. I did not receive the title or lug nuts they had promised and had to contact Ken again. He informed me that the title was shipped to the wrong address and he made no attempt to satisfy the issue. Instead, he forwarded me the tracking number which had been emailed to him over a month ago, but he had felt no need to send my way before. He completely ignored my question about the lug nuts they had agreed to send me so I called. As I expected, he refused to speak with me and forwarded my call to someone else who instead claimed responsibility for the error with the title, but claimed no knowledge of the replacement lug nuts promised. Eventually Ken emailed me and told me I could get the replacement lug nuts from BMW for free because the car was under warranty still (which isn’t the case as I have already asked BMW). I bought the car and enjoy it, but my experience as a customer was awful. The lack of appropriate customer service continues to concern me and I hope that anyone else who may consider buying a vehicle from Manheim Imports be diligent and cautious especially if dealing with Ken Boak.
I don't review a lot, but I have to mention the service I received from Jeff Ludwig. When I bought my 2013 Audi S4 APR Stage II, back in 2015, Jeff... helped me and even sent me videos of the car since I was buying from Illinois. He also held the car with a modest downpayment for me. Unfortunately my mechanic stole some of the upgrades off of my car when it was in for my last service. Since Manheim did the upgrade I had no paperwork. I searched my email, called Manheim, Jeff still worked there, and had me all the paperwork I needed to support my claim in 2 hours. If that isn't after sales support I don't know what is. Being able to count on a guy several states away, years after the fact, is the type of person I would want to work with if I were you. To management: Please give Jeff a raise.
My wife and I bought a 2011 328xi here and they were great to deal with, good pricing and greg was great to deal with. Got a great deal on a unicorn of... a car (Red with stick shift, AWD, and Sport Seats).
Ask for Greg...straight to the point and no BS. Very knowledgable and clearly demonstrated quickly that he cared about my satisfaction as a car buyer.

I have shopped for the car I eventually purchased for over 18 months. The car I bought was by far in best condition, with all available features and options,... and at lowest price. A total value. The sales personnel are friendly, informative, patient, attentive and generally helpful. They were very respectful of my time and travel plans. My car was missing a couple items which the dealership said it would take care of - no questions asked. This is THE pre-eminent used-Audi dealership to buy from if located in the northeast or mid-Atlantic. I drove seven hours to see and buy my car - it was worth every second.
After a lengthy search, I just purchased a near new 2017 Cadillac CTS-V. What's impressive about this transaction is that Manheim Imports is located... in PA and I'm in OR. I worked with Ken Boak to make the deal but I was nervous about the cross country shipping. Luke Kreider went out of his way to assist with the coordination. I just received the car and it's everything Manheim advertised. I want to thank Luke and Ken for a terrific buying experience. I strongly recommend this company.
I bought a used Porsche from them from out of state and flew into Harrisburg, PA to pick the car up. There was someone there to pick me up at the airport... promptly. The car was as described and the paperwork was ready when I arrived. It was an excellent buying experience.
We traded in a BMW i128 on a Mercedes e350 and were totally satisfied with the friendliness and professionalism of the sales and management staff. The... overall process was quick, the negotiations were courteous, and the entire process was excellent. This is our 4th car purchased with Manheim Imports.
I spent five weeks exchanging emails with Greg. At no time did he ever attempt to pressure me into buying a vehicle. When I made my decision, we agreed... on a price that was well below market. Then, when I addressed some minor issues that I wanted remedied on the car, he went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. In the end I purchased an incredible vehicle at an incredible price. The ‘sales’ process was more like spending time with trusted friends.
