Purchased a new 2023 Defender from Land Rover of

Purchased a new 2023 Defender from Land Rover of Sacramento in October 2022. Bryce and Amanda in Sales assisted me. This was my 3rd purchase from a Niello dealer, the other 2 being from Niello BMW where I've had nothing but amazing experiences both times. Leading up to my purchase, Bruce and Amanda were great to deal with. Responsive, courteous and efficient. The transaction went just as well. And the finance manager (Steve, I believe) was one of the best finance managers I've worked with and I've probably over a dozen in the past few years. I traded in my 2021 BMW 5-series here as well. Also went without a hitch and they offered a competitive trade in value. Post transaction is where the experience went south. First, the brand new car has about half a tank only. I was able to let that go since the overall service had been great. Second, I informed Amanda the next day that I left my custom license plate frame on my BMW and she assured me she will pull it and mail it back to me. I've still not received it and whenever I text Amanda and Bryce for a response I get crickets. Third, I found out by BMW Financial that my account was at risk of collection. Turns out that Land Rover of Sac didn't properly send payout from their Niello BMW dealer. Again, messages to Bryce and Amanda came back with a mere and casual I'll check on it or I haven't gotten a response from BMW yet. So in desperation I contacted the GM at Niello BMW and again, he came through for me and expedited the process. Finally, upon purchase I was told that (1) the instrument cluster wasn't the OE digital model due to supply chain constraints and (2) I would receive my 2nd set of the key fob in the mail. I understand and accepted the instrument cluster issue. To date I have not received my 2nd key fob and the only I update I received is I'll be contacted when it is available. I've purchased and lease several luxury cars and the post-transaction service level has been subpar at best here. I've even contacted the GM at Land Rover of Sac before posting this and did not receive a follow up. On a positive note, I'm loving my defender!

IF YOU WANT TO FEEL LIKE YOUR BOTHERING THEM THIS IS PERFECT

Don't trust the positive reviews, they are fake. Love my Land Rover but hate the Neillo dealership, it really doesn't matter which Neillo you go to, you will get the same service. These people make you feel like they are doing YOU a favor. I walked out and ended up buying my vehicle from another Land Rover dealership (awesome) because of the attitude I received from the Fulton ave location. I then needed recalls done and figured I would try their service dept. WORSE. You pull up and no signs to where to go, then you walk in the door to a cubicle where everyone will ignore you. Then the attitude returns. They are put out, no helpful information and god forbid you have a question. I have come to the conclusion that this auto group does not have meeting saying "you need to smile and be helpful" you know, common practice to a dealership or any other business for that matter. I cannot stress enough for you not to waste your time there. I own a high-end vehicle with high-end repair costs I want at least a smile....

Elevating the Vehicle Buying Experience

I am happy to share two more great experiences with Niello Land Rover Sacramento. I completed two transactions in the last two weeks: one on behalf of my colleague who had become frustrated with another dealership (she wanted a new Discovery with specific features) and one for myself (I traded in my RR Sport for a RR Velar). I worked with Aaron Faulk and Scott Johnson on both purchases, and they did a great job finding the right vehicle for my colleague and arranging a trade with a dealership in Manhattan to get it here. For my trade-in transaction, they were amazing at securing great financing and making the process painless. (Special mention to Gina and Andrew who made the signing process so easy, clear, and streamlined.) This is my 5th vehicle purchase from the Niello family of dealerships personally (between business transactions and helping my friends and family with purchases, I’ve done about a dozen deals with Niello) and I will continue to herald them as the “non-car-dealer” dealership. They make it such a low pressure, easy, fantastic experience every single time. I’ve brought business colleagues, friends, and family in to Niello and they’ve all been impressed with how Niello consistently elevates the vehicle buying experience. Whether you’re in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle, you’ll be glad you went with Niello.

Zero pressure and excellent service!

My daughter has bought her last four vehicles through the Niello dealerships and has told me how amazing the experience was for years. I thought, “how great can it be; it’s a car dealership?” Well I am now a believer that the car buying experience can be fantastic! When I was looking for a pre-owned vehicle recently, my daughter took me to Niello Land Rover to see if they might have anything in their inventory that fit my needs. We worked with Zach, who had recently helped her on a purchase. Wow – what an experience! Zach helped locate the perfect vehicle at another Niello dealership and had it transferred for me; he was like a concierge through the process. Gina in financing was just amazing, helping me understand the loan programs and requirements, and walking me through the process. Everyone I came in contact with was positive, friendly, and helpful. Sean, who had also helped my daughter, came over to visit and check in. It felt like we were at a blend of high-end retail store and friend’s house, rather than a car dealership. I loved it so much that, when my husband was recently looking for a car, we specifically looked at Niello inventory to find something… stay tuned for my review of that experience.

Highline Service from a Highline Dealer!

My husband and I recently purchased a 2015 Range Rover Sport from Scott Johnson in Sales. We live 2 hours north of Sacramento in Redding CA. We were able to easily negotiate the deal over the phone with a trade in and when we drove down to the dealership Scott had the vehicle and the paperwork all ready for us. We were in and out in 45 minutes Thank You Scott! Upon Delivery we noticed a minor repair that needed to be made by the service dept. I was contacted by Shannon in Service she was very polite and friendly and made arrangements for the driver to come up to Redding to pick up my vehicle make the required repair (headliner) not only did they accommodate me at my house by picking up the vehicle but left me with a very nice Jaguar F-Type as a service loaner. The Service and Sales departments at this dealership are first class and they have earned a customer for life! Thank you for the Excellent Service all around!

Niello dealerships have earned my loyalty

I made my fourth purchase from a Niello dealership over the weekend (VW, Audi, Land Rover Rocklin, Land Rover Sacramento). I have found each dealership to be absolutely excellent. I had such a great experience working with Zach, Sean, and Dan in sales and Gina in finance. I love buying Land Rovers from Brits (and an Irish guy, in this case), as I feel that they have a true passion for what makes Rovers excellent vehicles. This experience did not disappoint. I felt like these guys were my friends throughout the process. I was under the weather this weekend and they truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Gina in finance is a total pro, making the paperwork effortless and simple. I'd highly recommend any Niello dealership. And if you go to Land Rover Sacramento, make sure to ask for Zach or Sean!

Then there's Niello Jaguar in Sacramento

There are many great dealerships with helpful people that sell and service good cars. Then there's Niello Jaguar in Sacramento, California. It is truly an excellent culture of people who create this great dealership! When it comes to selling a quality product, ensuring that the buyer is pleased with the sale & the car and exceeding customer expectations, at Niello Jaguar these things are second nature. They have acted in the most professional and respectful and bend over backward way to keep me happy, even after the sale, even though I live 2100 miles away. Even here in Chicago, they made repairs to my vehicle they thought should have been fixed before I bought it. I looked all over the country for an '05-'08 Super V8. I had cars inspected in four states. None showed better in pictures and eventually in person than the car I found in Sacramento. It was certainly the farthest destination. After comparing 40+ Super V8 and Vanden Plas models, I decided to go to Sacramento and check out the one they had in inventory with the full intention of buying it and driving it back to Chicago. They repaired several major items before I ever saw the car. After we inked the deal their General Manager, Richard Farler, had the heater core replaced. It took all day but he didn't charge me. He arranged for transportation for me at his cost. Now back in Chicago, we identify a suspension is#10sue. He's fixing that for me too. These were the final over the top steps Niello Jaguar did for me. Before the purchase there's the work of my Sales Consultant, Zach Mongston. He is a great listener, professional in his manner, enthusiastic with his clients at all times, and responsible above and beyond he even came in on his days off to help me with the purchase logistics. I asked for well over 60 additional photos of the car and Zach took all of them. He arranged for many special items with my car before I arrived from cleaning to polishing the wheels to buffing the entire car. At one point he was taking care of small cleaning details just to make the car spotless for me. I don't think he ever received a commission on my purchase due to the negative gross on the car. Finally, at the heart of any service company is its dedicated employees. Todd Landvik, Used Car Manager and Daniel Giles, Sales Manager both were instrumental in working on details before I arrived that kept my stay in Sacramento to a minimum, they helped me ship my own car back to Chicago and expedited the paperwork. Jorge Vega, the man of the year to me, fixed so many things on my car. He really made my purchase possible. I would have walked away if that car didn't run so well and would have kicked myself if it fell apart after I bought it. Gina Parr, Jackie Edwards and Cara Feld made the finance portion and paperwork before, during and after happen seamlessly and flawlessly. And while I was waiting for two days while Jorge did repairs in the back, Tonya Stoup in service, Spencer Sughrue in sales and Ailya Ireland-Shelton in the office kept me company and made me feel like a part of the Niello family. There are many times I want to write a bad review about some service, not many times when I feel like writing a good one. With Niello Jaguar's "out of the park" service and dealership culture I don't see how I could not write a true review of my experience. Thank you all. Michael Lind

Super service!

I purchased a XJL Portfolio and was very impressed by the overall service and (particularly) the friendliness of the entire staff at the dealership. Neil replied to my initial inquire immediately. Spencer handled the purchase in a very professional manner, and was very pleasant to deal with, as was Dan in the finance department. Overall, this was as good an experience as I ever had in dealings with other dealerships.
