Cars.com Price = Not "Real" Price

Attempted to buy a vehicle at the advertised Cars.com price. Was told the "real" price is much higher due to market adjustment. While it is true many dealerships are charging a premium for popular cars now, not all are - and displaying an advertised selling price (in this case, the MSRP) with no intention of honoring it is not only a waste of potential customers' time, it is out-and-out fraudulent advertising.

Rip off

Got quoted for a RAV4 over the phone, told the guy over the phone that I will be driving 65 miles for this car, he said all set and keep the keys on the side. As soon as got to the lot, the price was increased by 10K called special accessories. Don't trust these guys, bunch of thieves.

hiding fees

The place is always offering accessories that increase prices a lot. I got my first car here and put so many things at the end of the contract, and they made me buy the extended warranty, expensive insurance, accessories like a GPS locater that never worked, windows protections. Ask for the real price before application

Worse experience

This was the worse experience I ever had with customer service,I spent 4 1/2 hours buying a truck,they advertised one price and I double check with the sales guy(Seth) and at the end I had to pay for a antithef system and a clear coating on top of the advertised price with no choice, make sure to have them disclosure from the beginning, this add up to almost 5k

Manipulative Scam Artists

We drove 2 hours to this location due to the fact we were seriously interested in a car that had been advertised on the Toyota website. Upon arriving there we were greeted by a salesperson who never introduced himself at first and minimally engaged with us. We then finally sat down to talk about numbers and financing and that's where we were hit with numbers that did not match what was advertised on the website. A vehicle that we were interested in was advertised with an MSRP of $38,000, when they presented us the numbers the car came out to close to $60,000 (including service contracts and "dealer installed options or price mark up due to car being high demand). When asked about certain extra fees we were faced with no clarification. The salesperson by the name of Christian kept going in the back to his sales manager and coming back to us with even more unanswered questions and hidden fees. We originally drove there ready to purchase a vehicle with 10K in our pocket and we left there feeling frustrated, manipulated, taken advantage of and overall angry. We have never experienced a situation like this when purchasing a car. Very poor professionalism. I highly advise you to check every item on the invoice that the salesperson presents to you. We ended up purchasing a car elsewhere and we couldn't be happier.

Dishonest and lack of integrity

This dealer is very misleading not transparent or honest about advertised pricing. They have hidden fees and use fine print which is dishonest. This is a direct reflection of their integrity it's very disappointing and misleading. This gives auto dealers a bad name. Reading reviews this seems to standard practice for this dealership as other customers have experienced the same issue. Very disappointed they haven't learned yet from past experiences to fix their mistakes.

Ripping of customer with 20K mark up

I check the price for the truck with this seller . The truck price is around 48K , they gave me the crazy price which was $69k .20K more than asking price for TOYOTA, be careful with this seller, They might have hidden charges if they charge you 20k more than sticker price.

Total Scam - cars.com price is a lowball.

Total Scam! I called the dealer to verify if the cars.com price was the actual price, and no dealer added options. Woman lied on the phone, when I showed up, the car had almost $4,000 in dealer added BS - clear coat, anti theft, bs system, stain guard. Wow, when I looked more closely, the front and read panels indicated it easy in at least one wreck. The paint color didn’t even match. This was a 2017 Prius. What an insult and wast of my time. All other Toyota’s had fake mark up stickers above the advertised prices. I’m reporting this to Toyota tomorrow.

My Buying Experience.

I had a very satisfying experience buying a 2018 Toyota Yaris iA. I had seen the car online and I became very excited and spoke with Prince the Salesperson on the phone. When I met with him at the dealership, he was very transparent about the process. I enjoyed not only talking with him but also I was sold a car and told him about the car. He helped me to understand how to use all the parts of the car and also helped me to understand why the car was a good buy. I am very satisfied with my experience. Also, the Sales Manager whose name I cannot remember was very patient and helpful. The finance person gave me what I believe is a good finance rate and he was pleasant. So overall with all the persons I dealt with were very pleasant and helpful.

I had the same experience as in previous reviews: they advertise the low price, they confirm it over the phone, and when I arrived they added $3200 more in useless extras for $32,000 car. They even claim that all dealerships are doing the same. Avoid this company - bad business practice.
