My old post was deleted.

My old post was deleted. I purchased a used GMC Denali from Keffer Kia. I got home and realized there was hail damage and remnants from highway paint, and broken running boards. During the purchase we found a suspension problem and in writing they agreed to repair the issue. After a couple of BBB complaints they agreed to finally take the truck in. I got the truck back after almost 3 weeks and nothing but the partial hail damage repair. The costliest part (the roof) was never touched. I still have the suspension problem and now have to hire a lawyer. On 10/22 I asked for the gap insurance and service plan to be cancelled ($5500). They claim they sent a refund to the bank but as of today 2/5 It is still not showing credited to my account. They gave me an image of a check but that means nothing. I can write a check for a million dollars and put it in my desk drawer and it means absolutely nothing. Jason told me the sales folks were suppose to inform any prospective buyer the auto assist running boards were broken. That was not disclosed to me until 2 months after I purchased the truck. Really disappointed and unhappy I have to get a lawyer involved but I've tried everything to reason with them. I have been buying cars since before most of these folks were born and these people are the most dishonest and unethical people I have ever worked with. I'm left with $2500 for hail damage, $2300 for suspension repair, and $1900 for running boards. I already spent $800 trying to remove the highway line paint.

Still haven't received tags no paper work no jack no

Still haven't received tags no paper work no jack no spare tire check engine light on after 2 days rude associates hang up in mid conversation would never recommend them or buy from them again still waiting check engine light on the very next day really.

My Buying Process with Keffer Kia

I had an overall GREAT experience at Keffer Kia! Thanks to Justin Imes, Tareek & Dwayne Johnson for everything! Dwayne worked wonders & did everything possible to get me financed & I appreciate him for that! Tareek helped me to choose a vehicle that I was pleased with. Justin (sales rep) stuck with me through out the whole process. The finance manager (Michael Johnson) wasn’t very nice though! He seemed agitated & irritated that I received the approval. Not sure if it was because I was African American or what?? Other than that, I still left the dealership in my new 2024 Kia K5 very ECSTATIC!

Do Not take your car here went to have recalls done at. No charge car was in perfect running condition when I got home cAr was leaking oil.took it back was told leak must must have happened the minute we left ... dealership.what a LIE

Don’t go here

Worst service department I've ever seen!

Worst service department I've ever seen!!!! They have techs lock your keys in their tool box, so if the tech isn't there, you can't get your keys, they tear car apart without permission, and they don't return phone calls, very shady service department.

shop somewhere else.

Salesman, Alex was polite and nice but very dishonest and he did not listen to me. It appears he was only thinking of himself making a bigger commission sale. Alex lied to my face, I see there are alot more negative reviews than positive and that clearly says something about this place. i will not be coming back here. I warn anyone that is wanting a honest salesman DO NOT go to Alex at this place. Maybe there is someone working in this dealership that is honest and listens to the customer.

Go somewhere else - PLEASE!

Looking for a Kia - go somewhere else. They mark up everything $5000 to $7000 even inflating the MSRP to justify. Used to be a good dealership, but now they are just hungry for profit. There are several other Kia dealerships around Charlotte that will sell you are car at a fair price.

I have owned Kias for 17 years.

I have owned Kias for 17 years. The mechanics and service department has always been top of the line and have cared about my family and the safety of our 4 kias. Until now. The service departments charges $250 for nothing more than a diagnostics test!! The average is $88 to $120. The price gauging is sickening. We went in with, what we thought was our engine finally seizing, which we are waiting to happen so that the warranty will finally be granted. To be given a repair list for over $3,000, including a $250 diagnostic charge. Have of which do not need repairing and they never mentioned the engine repair that does in fact need to be done!!! I had intentions on trading it or seeing if the dealership would offer a fair price Instead I had it towed back to my house. And we are going to buy a new car from another company. I will not by a Kia again!! After 17 years of loyally owning them. If Kia only wants to gouge there costumers and not do warranty work that meets the requirements, you just lost the sale of 2 new cars!!!!!!
