It all started in the 1930s when Clayton Gengras opened his first Ford dealership on Raymond Road in West Hartford. Clayton went on to become one of the Northeast's most successful Ford dealers. Corey is your quintessential car salesman stereotype.

Corey is your quintessential car salesman stereotype. I wouldn't come back here for a car again solely to avoid having to deal with/tolerate him another time. I got the classic over-communicative, pushy calls and texts right up until I decided to buy the car, and then it was crickets to every question I had following that, as there were delays in getting the car registered and finally to me in person (it took almost a month start to finish to acutally get this car). His manager, Jeff, who eventually stepped in, wasn't much better. Ronny was the only person there that seemed to care, he was nice, it's too bad he's surrounded by the others.

The service writer doesn't even know the policy for

The service writer doesn't even know the policy for service warranties. I called volvo corporate customer service and received more info. I have 2 volvos and I'll be bringing my cars to another dealership.

Great experience at Gengras Volvo!

I recently leased my second Volvo from Gengras in North Haven. What a great experience I had! From being greeted as soon as I arrived to driving out with a beautiful new car - everyone was professional and willing to make sure I had a positive experience. Brian and Corey worked hard to get me into the car I wanted for the price I wanted. Manny made sure I understood all the paperwork and helped me get the best coverage for my new vehicle. Stacey was amazing - explaining all the features of the car and helping me get hooked up to my new voice activated system! I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a Volvo.

Gengras always delivers.

Professionalism and efficiency in there delivery is not easy to find. Richard is always so attentive and make me feel quite at ease. Went in for an unusual sound coming from under the car and was told my car would not be ready the same day because they did not have the part, and due to the holidays. I was offered a loaner. The next morning I received a call that my car was ready. The part came in early, service was done and I had my car back in 24 hours. 😊

Gengras service team is outstanding!

Gengras Volvo’s service operation is the finest I’ve ever encountered. The entire process from first contact to pick up of the vehicle was outstanding. Lee, Steve, and the entire service team were amazing. Great communication throughout the process. Little touches, like sending a video with the service tech to outline what they found and recommendations for action, was an incredible way to communicate with the client. Picking up the car was quick and easy. And the front desk staff was very courteous and professional. Thanks to all for a great experience. We’ll be back. And we’ll also recommend Gengras Volvo to our friends and acquaintances. Bravo!

Volvo XC90

Nate Joyce was our salesman and he as amazing. I can not begin to express the genuineness of this man. Nate was extremely knowledgeable and listened to all questions and concerns. We have been looking for a new vehicle for a year now and one of the main reasons for purchasing a Volvo was Nate!! Nate was realistic and not pushy!! There needs to be more Nate's in this world. Nate's professionalism and realistic approach was the main selling point for us. Kelaniya was also extremely professional and took her time teaching us about all of the features in the car.

Mike Ferris was a terrifically responsive sales person. At the end, he knew my email address by heart because I had so many questions. He never was perturbed. Highly recommend Gengras and Mike in particular. Shout out to Keilany who was a terrific teacher of all things volvo in the xxxx pit - which is considerable.
