Gene and Connor were really nice and easy to work with, very knowledgeable as well. It was a good experience and we love our new car
Connor was the worst sales person , Very rude everybody that answered the phone was rudeI would never recommend this dealership I drove 100 miles away... to buy a car and was thrilled
We went in to purchase a new leased Acura. We were met as we got out of our old car by an extremely engaging Will Sims. We were treated as special guests... through out our visit. Will was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and within a short time knew precisely what we wanted. In a matter minutes our desired new car was located. When we returned to pick up the new car Will was like the energizer bunny getting all the paperwork in order. Everyone we worked with to complete the transaction were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, the process was pleasant and painless. Special praise for Ryan Anderson, who has the thankless task of completing the endless paperwork associated with the purchase. Though it always takes too much time, Ryan turned it into an enjoyable time with his professional, but also humorous approach. Thanks to their approach to doing business, Will and Ryan virtually guaranteed we will always return to Tim Smith for our Automotive needs.
Without a doubt the nicest car buying experience I have had. Scott and Hamilton went above and beyond what I would expect sales team members to accommodate... me, an out of town buyer. This was all new to me. I had never bought a car from out of state. I had a million questions and my credit union required a lot. Scott and Hamilton were always kind and professional. When the time came for me to pick up the car Scott picked me up from the airport and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. When we pulled into the dealership there was my "new" pre-owned car. It was detailed so well it looked brand new. I noticed one small issue with the car and they quickly resolved it. Scott had worked with me the days before to get all the paperwork lined up so I could minimize the time at the dealership and be back on the road to make it home to Texas. I think I was there a total of 90 minutes from when we pulled up to when I drove off. One of the nicest things about the entire experience was that there was no surprises, no pressure to buy anything extra, and no bad mouthing of competitors. I truly felt like I was talking to a neighbor or an old friend.
Just purchased an Acura RDX. Also purchased an Acura TL a couple of months ago for my son. Excellent service all the way around. Not pushy and very accommodating.... Makes car buying a truly pleasant experience. Their service department is also top notch. Work always done correctly and in a timely manner. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Thanks guys !! ¿¿¿
This dealership wasted three hours of my time. I was there to purchase a 2007 Acura MDX that was advertised on the internet. After driving the car we feel... in love with it. We made an offer on the car and then the Sales Manager accepted. I told the Salesman that I had X amount of money in cash in my pocket and that is all I can pay due to being on a fixed income, he told me that the offer was good plus I would pay Tax, Title, and Registration. We agreed and waited for the paperwork to be completed and the car to be cleaned. Upon completing the paperwork we were quoted Five Hundred dollars over the agreed upon charges, when we asked why we were told it was a dealer fee, which was not disclosed until we were hooked and ready to pay. We told him to remove the charge or we walked, he refused saying it was state law, which was a lie, so we picked up our money from the desk and walked out. I guess most people just go ahead and pay the charge but when they pulled this slick trick on us it didn't work. Five Hundred extra dollars on each vehicle sold is a pretty good profit.
I tried to negotiate price. They told me to ask bank what they would offer. Bank stated I should get price with them first. Tim Smith acura told me to... make an offer. When I did they did not return my phone call and this happened on more than one occasion with them. After two weeks, I just gave up and went to shop elsewhere.
This dealer is a small town, poorly run operation. We tried to buy new car here only to have to wait on the manager / owner get back from his lunch break…... then no introduction or apology. BUYER BEWARE… we saved approx 3-4 K at another dealer… I have bought many cars and this was by far the worst. I'm very glad we walked ….
If you are shopping for an Acura, drive a 100 miles extra and go to Tallahassee. This dealer is unethical and will change things on you after agreeing... to the price. The service department is just as bad and never gets the repairs right the first time. Seems like the fish stinks from top down. Managers and employees dont care and dont return calls when you try to address issues. I have owned an Acura for 20+ years and by far this is the worst dealer.
We had negotiated a price on a new Acura MDX on a Saturday. It was after closing so we told our sales person, Jennifer Hart, that we would get back with... her on Monday, giving us a chance to check our bank for financing. I called her that morning and asked if they'd install a couple of options to sweeten the deal. Over 2 hours later she informed that she had spoken to the owner and that not would they not install any options, but he wouldn't have offered the sale price we were quoted on Saturday if he'd been there. I told her I'd let her know if we changed our mind and hung up. A little while later I emailed her thanking her for her efforts and to keep us in mind if something similar came up for sale. My husband, knowing how disappointed I was, tried to surprise me and called her to make the deal. He left her a message and she never called back. I was so disappointed losing out on the MDX when I realized that he had tried and she wouldn't respond.
