In a Quarter Mile, Turn Around — And Never Set Foot in Valward Cadillac Again I am beyond disgusted and completely done with Valward Cadillac. Buying a brand-new 2025 Cadillac Lyriq should’ve been an exciting milestone. Instead, it’s turned into one of the worst and most infuriating experiences of my life — and it’s still ongoing. Let’s be very clear: This dealership has lied to me, manipulated me, ignored me, and insulted my intelligence at every single step. It started from the moment I bought the car. During the sales process, I pointed out another identical Lyriq at the same price and told the sales rep I wanted that one instead. He told me “you only got approved for this specific car.” That’s a flat-out lie — you get approved for dollar amounts, not VIN numbers. So right from the start, I was pressured, misled, and boxed into a car that has turned out to be nothing but problems. Since owning it, this car has been back to service multiple times. The worst episode? David, the Service Advisor, called me on a Thursday to tell me the car could not be fixed. The strut system has 17 parts, and only one part had arrived. He told me there was no ETA — not from the manufacturer, not from any dealer — and that I could come pick up the car unfixed, or wait. I refused, because I didn’t feel safe. Then the next day, like magic, the parts “arrived” and the car was “ready”? No one with half a brain believes that. I firmly believe they stripped parts from another car to force the repair and avoid a Lemon Law claim. That’s not a fix — that’s a scam. I called GM, only to be told the dealer now says the vehicle was repaired, so I no longer qualify for the Lemon Law — despite already being told by the Attorney General’s office that I do qualify, and having been sent the forms to begin the process. It doesn’t stop there. Since that sham repair, my car has been back to the service department two more times. It’s currently at Valward again, this time for an OnStar module failure — and again, I’m told there is no ETA on the part, and that it’s unsafe to drive. Meanwhile, I’ve been trying to speak to Jim, the General Manager. I can’t even get past Steve, the Service Manager. I’ve written to the owners, who supposedly are “very involved in the day-to-day” — but I’ve received no response whatsoever. To top it all off? They took me out of my electric loaner and put me into a gas car — even though I bought an EV to avoid gas costs. So now I’m not only making payments on a car I’m not driving, I’m also being forced to pay for gas just to get around. This is beyond unacceptable — it’s infuriating. • Jim, the GM: Nowhere to be found. • Steve, the Service Manager: Shielding management from customers. • David, the Advisor: Gave me contradictory and misleading information. • Valward’s ownership: Completely silent while their dealership falls apart. I’ve never felt more disrespected, manipulated, and insulted as a paying customer in my life. I’m exhausted, and I’ve lost all trust in Valward Cadillac. I will continue pursuing the Lemon Law process through the Attorney General. I’ve scheduled an independent inspection with another Cadillac dealer because I do not trust a single technician, manager, or executive at Valward. DO NOT BUY FROM VALWARD CADILLAC. DO NOT SERVICE WITH VALWARD CADILLAC. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE OR YOUR FINANCING. They’ve manipulated me, sold me a problem vehicle, dodged accountability, and treated me like a fool. But I’m not staying quiet. I will continue sharing my story until someone is held accountable. Valward Cadillac — you’ve lost a customer, a voice, and a whole lot more.
