Good service from Roger Dean Chevrolet

Dropped off my 16 yr old car because it had a power steering problem. The tech diagnosed the problem -- the PS motor was shorting out causing a loss of the power assist -- and needed to be replaced. Fortunately, the dealership had one in stock. The tech replaced the PS motor and the car has been driving fine ever since.

Declining customer service and quality of service

The overall perception is they are an assembly line and want to get you in and out of the facility and then provide customer service and timely repairs. I am writing to share my recent experiences with the service department at Roger Dean Chevrolet, and I hope that my feedback will be considered constructively. To provide some context, my association with Roger Dean spans over two decades, during which my family and I have exclusively trusted your dealership for our Chevrolet vehicles. We are proud Chevy enthusiasts, with a family history deeply rooted in ACDelco, further solidifying our loyalty to the brand. However, I regret to express my dissatisfaction with the recent decline in service quality. This past Saturday, which also happened to be my birthday, was marred by a prolonged visit to the dealership to rectify an issue that was supposedly resolved during the initial service appointment. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident, and my recent experiences have prompted me to bring these concerns to your attention. I acknowledge that dealerships are businesses and must turn a profit. Yet, I firmly believe that profitability should not compromise the delivery of impeccable service and stand behind the work performed. A specific incident that exemplifies my concerns occurred when my wife's Camaro was serviced two months ago. The dealership quoted us over $1800 for brake work, including unnecessary rotor replacements. Seeking a second opinion at a reputable local competitor revealed that only front brakes were needed, without the need for rotors, and at a fraction of the cost. Furthermore, recent visits for routine maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations, have been unsatisfactory. Despite the dealership's inability to find a tire wrench, the tires were not rotated on my truck, and the subsequent handling of the situation lacked professionalism and accountability. A similar frustration occurred during a service on our Jeep, where the lack of communication about the omitted tire rotation compounded our dissatisfaction. The subsequent billing error and how it was addressed further added to our concerns about the level of customer service. In conclusion, my recent experiences at Roger Dean Chevrolet have left me questioning the commitment to customer satisfaction and the standards of service quality. As a customer who values transparency, fair treatment, and respect, I felt compelled to bring these matters to your attention in the hope that improvements can be made. I appreciate your time and consideration of these concerns. I believe that addressing these issues will not only enhance customer satisfaction but also contribute to the reputation of Roger Dean Chevrolet as a trustworthy and customer-focused dealership.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. After repeatedly trying to contact the service person assigned to my truck by phone, I had to drive to the Dealership to prevent them from putting in an unnecessary part that would have raised my bill to $7000. Most unprofessional.

My car is 21 years old. Even though it has very low mileage, (under 90,000 miles) I understand that it can be very difficult to get parts for it. I have had two major repairs done at Roger Dean over the last couple of months, and I'm very pleased with the results so far. The car runs almost like new!

Worst service department ever-Should be zero stars

Appointment was for a Saturday, they called Friday and confirmed. Also received email confirmation. When we arrived, we were told they made a mistake that the Corvette mechanic doesn't work weekends, but we could bring it back Monday, we live 45 minutes away, so we left it. Car was said to be fixed later that week. Took it home and it was not fixed. Had to take it back to the shop for the exact same issue. They are telling us it's another problem. They're mechanic misdiagnosed the issue the first time and can't admit it. Do they not think there could have been two different issues causing the same problem. Not only that but they are lying to the extended warranty company. They told them the check engine light was on when I dropped the car off, it was NOT and I dropped it off after hours so how could they see anything when they were not there. This time they stuck it on a code machine, the first time they did not. They are making me pay the $200 deductible AGAIN for their ignorance. Do not have your vehicle serviced here. They are incompetent and obviously don't know what they are doing, and they blatantly lie.
