Worst experience of my life, dropped car off for service

Worst experience of my life, dropped car off for service and didn’t hear anything for two weeks then 4 weeks after drop off they said there’s no eta for part needed, so I came and picked up vehicle, when they picked up rental they said I scratched which I didn’t not trying to charge me for it. Total scam artists

HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE QUALITY REPAIRS, QUESTIONABLE

HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE QUALITY REPAIRS, QUESTIONABLE ETHICS AND INTEGRITY, FAILURE TO MAKE GOOD ON FAULTY REPAIRS I ASKED THE SERVICE ADVISOR TO HAVE THE DEALERSHIP OWNER CONTACT ME. THE ADVISOR TOLD ME THE EMPLOYEES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK TO THE OWNER - THAT SHOULD TELL YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE!!! Their reputation around town is horrible! I should have listened to all the people who told me to go elsewhere! RUN ! RUN ! RUN ! RUN !

Cox Chevrolet is amazing

I have been very satisfied with everything about the purchase of my 2023 Chevy Malibu, purchased new in March 2033. From Finian at the sales department to David at service department , to Laura at the body shop. Not to mention , the kind courteous front desk people. This is the first time I have ever purchased a Chevrolet and truly did not know what to expect. I just saw the Malibu , with people driving it all over the place , and I knew that was a car that I would like. Plus, I was unhappy with the service that I had been receiving at my previous dealership, not a Chevrolet dealership . I had my other car for 9 years until 2023. And I had to deal with that other dealership for those 9 years. It was very frustrating , to say the least. Cox is courteous and did my maintenance and repairs in a very timely manner. I am a happy customer! Thank you so much for everything so far , Cox!

I arrived at scheduled time, Dave my service associate...

I arrived at scheduled time, Dave my service associate was polite and Informative however, he had told me two hours for a tire rotation, alignment, and basic inspection. After the third hour, car was finally done. Cox was to bill a 3rd party for the service however they were difficult to convince as to how to go about doing so. In the end I ended up having to pay the bill myself as they couldn't accomplish the billing task. After leaving I realized they had not given me any documentation as to the work that was completed. I especially wanted the inspection report but did not receive one. I'm skeptical the work I requested was actually done to my vehicle. Not the best dealer experience I've had and will find another dealership service center for my future needs.

We took our 2017 Chevy SS for an oil change on March 17...

We took our 2017 Chevy SS for an oil change on March 17 2021. We had an 11am appointment and after waiting 2 hours for the oil change to be completed, the following occurred. Avonne pulled our car out of the service bay and proceeded to do hot laps around the parking lot at a high rate of speed. We happened to be outside to witness this and walked up and confronted Avonne and ask him, “Did you have fun?” He knew he was caught and replied, “Yes it’s a nice car.” We went in and asked for the Service Manager to let him know what I witnessed. Roberto said “ I’m sorry that it happened and he will be talked to”. After stewing about the incident all night we decided to call and speak to the General Manager of the dealership. This could not have gone worse. We were yelled at on the phone and talked down to by John. He said, “ We work on tight margins and there is nothing I can do for you.” “Is this is the first time you have came to the dealership.” This lead us to believe because we have not purchased the vehicle there, he did not owe us anything. We specifically went to a Chevrolet dealership to avoid any problems getting service. Stay away from Cox Chevrolet! All they care about is the bottom line! Not you, your car or respect of customer satisfaction. Management contact information

Beware, way over charged, had to wait seven hours for a...

Beware, way over charged, had to wait seven hours for a two hours repair! Charged $450 for labor for two rear brakes! Poor service! Beware

New Camaro

Great Team 👍 They do what they can. Some people want the world from them -they only can help you build your world. It's a two way street. Friendly, truthful,honest. If they can do it they will. Front of the house to the back of the house great experience.Hands down.........Even Rico Fisher...LOl J/K Rico's alright....

Lack Integrity

I needed an oil change and decided to check out Cox Chevrolet since the reviews were okay and over the years I’ve sadly learned that several of the other local Chevy dealers do not do honest business. How bad could an oil change be? Scheduling the appointment was easy and the girl on the phone was pleasant. There was an availability for that same afternoon, so that was super convenient. My advisor was very pleasant, but fairly new and still learning. She had to ask me to repeat my customer info since she wasn’t completely familiar with the system. She also needed help processing my customer service voucher. It wasn’t a problem since I wasn’t pressed for time, but if I had something else scheduled for after the visit I definitely could see where this could have been frustrating. It took 40 mins just to get me in the customer system and service order created. I moved to the customer lounge and then waited for an hour. My advisor came to see me and advise me that the technician found a few items that he recommended to be completed. The first was replacement of all wiper blades for approximately $100. The problem with this is I literally just had my blades replaced in December...6 months ago! It was also recommended I have a tire alignment completed due to the apparent wear pattern on my tires. The problem here is that less than two weeks ago I was in NY visiting my parents and my father, a retired GM tech who now has his own repair shop, mentioned how smooth my vehicle drove and praised the even tire pattern. He asked if I was regularly having my tires rotated since the pattern of wear was so evenly balanced. I told him every single time I get my oil changed I also have the tires rotated. He was very pleased and said he taught me well :) I didn’t have him complete the oil change in NY since I had the GM service voucher I needed to use. However, he did a thorough check of my vehicle to insure fluids were topped off and the vehicle was ready for the road trip back to Florida. The rest of my car checked out great, but I was very sad to have these two “recommendations” presented to me since I know they were not necessary. Unless the technician actually did something that caused the need for an alignment himself, these were dishonest evaluations. I contacted my dad, the retired GM tech, from Cox’s customer lounge and he told me to leave and never go back. He asked me to check the oil and fluids before I drove out of the parking lot to insure there wasn’t the possibility of dishonest intentional damages or neglect causing me to require additional services from them. I wasn’t comfortable doing that under the circumstances , so I drive home and checked. The oil level seems to be fine and it appears to be light in color, so I believe the oil change was probably performed. However my windshield washer fluid is now clear and it was filled with blue windshield washer fluid before my road trip to NY. Cox Chevrolet just filled it with water. I’m sad to have to report this is not a company I would ever feel comfortable doing business with again. My service advisor, Season, was very apologetic and seemed sincerely so. She talked with the technician to sort out the misunderstanding, but she was also understanding of my concerns and hesitation to ever return. Unfortunately I don’t feel her understanding of my concerns warrants the risk of a return to this dealership. Sadly this first visit shows a lack of honesty and integrity.

Great fast professional experience did all over phone

Been Dealing with Joel Curto for over 13 years, great, knowledgeable , friendly, fast, courteous, accommodating salesperson! Always reachable by phone! Found a car for my sister in law in Georgia easy deal over the phone and FedEx!
