I am shopping for a used car. I found one of interest to me on their cars.com listing and then I read the fine print. Take a look, and I quote: ". All PRE-OWNED prices plus tax, title, Serra Platinum Package $499, $499 freight, $995 PDI, and $699 Doc fee. Dealer reserves the right to require captive financing. All pre-owned Internet Specials must finance with SETF. ". I will let their own shady ad speak for itself.

Bait and Switch on "Gift Card"
TERRIBLE AND DISAPPOINTING test drive experience and 2 hours of wasted for my daughter and my wife today at Serra Toyota of Decatur. My daughter is starting her car buying search and wanted to try the RAV-4 and take advantage of a "Free $100 gift card" certificate we received in the mail from Serra Toyota as Serra Customers (we bought 1 Toyota from them and regularly have all 3 of our Toyotas serviced from them - maybe this needs to change). My daughter was extremely excited about the test drive and the appraisal of her current car ..... until they gave her the "Gift Card". Rather than being $100 that she could legitimately spend to buy anything she needed, the "Gift Card" was actually 4 $25 "Gift Cards" to specific stores at eOutletstores.com . Products are all a bunch of junk that we don't want. SHAME ON YOU, SERRA TOYOTA! What a TERRIBLE standard to set with and disappointment to give to ANY customer, let-alone 5-year customers who spend major dollars with you on service and who have already bought a car from you. This follows on the heels of a year and a half of sketchy service quality experiences at the Decatur location. Service seems to be improving slowly, but overall our view is that these people just don't care about the customer. Hopefully this review warns anyone who thinks they will get conveniently spendable dollars in return for their time and attention.

Serra Toyota made my process enjoyable
I had the pleasure of working with the salesman Dante Smith. He made my first experience purchasing a car very enjoyable. He did everything in his power to make sure I left with something I would. He got me approved for a 2019 Camry in which I love. 10/10 recommend
We were able to locate and buy our Tundra truck and have a very pleasant experience at Serra Toyota of Decatur with Wes Willingham as our salesman. He was helpful and friendly. There was no pressure and no sales talk. I recommend highly.
Poor cusstomer service
Had a request for 2 past due recalls I ended up buying from Carmax due to my past experience with Serra(have tried to buy cars(usually new) from them to no avail! Went into the dealership after being disconnected and they said they didn't have the parts for the recalls!! I feel certain it is because I bought the car elsewhere--further proves they remain consistent in their lack of concern!!!

Amazing and Thorough!
I experienced outstanding service well before I walked in the doors. I called the used car department and spoke with Zak Stidham. He was informative, courteous, confident, and to the point. I made my drive to Serra Toyota, he greeted me at the door and from there, one test drive, papers signed, and a set of new keys in my hands. I am so grateful for Zak and the ease he has with his job. I can tell he's not just about selling, he's about ensuring each person gets their needs met. I am glad I made the choice and picked Serra Toyota. I'm also glad that Zak was the one taking care of me. You'll not be disappointed. He doesn't know the volume of my appreciation nor the amount of car trouble I have had in the last month. Today was simple and simple is good. Ask for Zak, he stands out, no "c" and no "h."
A Good Deal is only good if the car is good.
Bought the first truck and paid too much. Truck was great and saved me in a bad wreck. Sales staff wa all eager to get me into a replacement vehicle. Gave them my requirements including cost. Still played the "no go away and try again" with the salesman - Blake did great considering the leadership he had to work with - until we finally got to a number I could work with. I was concerned about the Tacoma because I'm 6'3" and need room in my truck..."oh, you'll love it there's tons of room in the tacoma"....wrong!!! So I have to go back because some paper wasn't right. Yes, I could have dropped the keys and walked away. Now I get guilt tripped by Antonio in finance - oh, it's all on video - into signing for a truck I hate. So the sales manager says "let's get the deal on the Tacoma completed, and we'll find something that works for you", so I sign the document and he brings me an idiotic deal on a truck that isn't close to what I want at a payment over $100 more a month. You be the judge, but I wouldn't buy a gas cap from this place. I guess Mr. Serra trains Mike's crew well....make them "feel like family" till we have their money. Stay away from this place!!!!!

Richard did a great job spending time and going over vehicle features. He also went out of his way to make sure we found what we were looking for. Bought new 4-Runner and new Tacoma
