Great service on my 2011 Camry. James Ard

Service Advisor you can Trust - James Ard

It is always all about TRUST. I bought my first Toyota (Carolla) used in the 1980's. We bought our first new Toyota (Tacoma) in 1992. We drive them 'til the wheels fall off so we don't purchase often. We got right at 500,000 miles on our last Tacoma. My husband and I now own a 2006 Tacoma and 2007 Camry Hybrid. We trust James Ard at Palmer's Toyota in Mobile, Alabama as our service advisor. We trust Toyota vehicles as we've never had much trouble with any we've ever owned. Service advisors are a different story though. A company is only as good as the people who represent them and Palmer's Toyota has found a tremendous asset in this service advisor. Palmer's Toyota has earned our service business and they can thank James Ard and the person who hired him for that.

2014 Avalon purchase

I drove from NW Florida to purchase a new vehicle from Palmer's Toyota because of the personnel on staff and the total buying experience. Top notch vehicle and professional to deal with. I will definitely make the drive again for the dealership. I purchased a 2014 Toyota Avalon touring model with all on the options I was looking for and the price no one in the local area could touch. love the vehicle and the way the dealership treated my family and I.

New car purchase from Palmers Toyota

Outstanding dealership. Buying process was easy, honest, and the best deal! We bought a new 4runner at a good price. Anne was our salesperson and she was perfect with her service and friendly customer approach. My wife and I are very satisfied with the whole process and I would absolutely recommend Palmers Toyota for your new Toyota purchase. You can shop around for a Toyota anywhere else, but in the end you will be buying from Palmers Toyota. Just do the math. They have the competition beat.

Best Experience to Date for buying a new vehicle!

Best experience to date for buying a vehicle - worked with Ryan Cox in the internet department and everything went smoothly. Love my new 2014 Highlander limited.

Forceful, rude, DO NOT GO HERE!

After telling Mr. Guy my maximum budget, he let me test drive a very nice car...however, after about 15-20 minutes of waiting for him to come back with a quote, he quoted me OVER DOUBLE my maximum budget! My mother and I spent two hours at the dealership, only about 30 of which was spent in the presence of Mr. Guy. I understand being busy but really? He emailed me telling me they got the quote down to within $30 of my max budget (though still over), and he said I "just need to make a little more money per month". I feel insulted and disrespected. I will NEVER take my business to this dealership again.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Spent a...

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Spent a few hours there looking into our options and filling out paperwork. Mr. Minnifield assured us he would call later that afternoon to update us on the status of our application. We waited two days and never received a phone call. We stopped back by the facility and Mr. Minnifield got very defensive and told us that he had personal business at home that distracted him and kept him from calling us. When we told him that his behavior was unprofessional his response was "so are you trying to tell me how to do my job now?" Due to the extremely rude and unprofessional behavior we experienced, we called to complain to management. After hearing our story, a member of management assured us that they would look into it and call us back. It's now a month later and still no phone call. On top of all this, we were never informed that they were going to run our credit 10-20 times! It has been a month since we were there and still almost daily we receive letters in the mail showing where they ran our credit for different institutions. So after receiving yet another letter today I decided to call back to talk to them about it. I spoke with the operator because I wasn't sure who I needed to speak with about it. I gave her a brief description of my situation and asked her to connect me with the correct person. She asked me who my salesperson had been and I specifically told her who it had been and that he was the last person I wanted to discuss it with. I asked if there was a member of management I could speak with instead. She asked me to hold and transferred my call to Mr. Minnifield anyway! Even after I specifically told her that we had problems with him and I absolutely did not want to speak with him again. I placed another call to the customer relations personnel who didn't answer and I guess we'll see if my call is returned or not. I do not have one single positive thing to say about any aspect of my dealings with Palmers. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and I certainly will never take my business there again.

This dealership is dishonest. Worst car buying experience...

This dealership is dishonest. Worst car buying experience I have ever had, and I have bought many new and used. Made a deal on a vehicle as it was and when I arrive to pick up the vehicle they have taken options off of the vehicle to lower the value. Also, headlight was out which they very reluctantly fixed and brake light was out which they did not fix. The salesman was insulting. Finance guy was good though. **AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP**

Aweful ***Avoid this Dealer***

I worked with David Parnell and J Guy. I purchased the vehicle because I was 4 hrs from home and my wife was already 2 hrs into the drive back and I had no way home. The salesman was insulting and prior to my arrival the truck was altered by replacing the expensive rims with cheap steal wheels. Would not have made the trip and deal had i known this dealership was this corrupt.
