David J. Pleasant View Tn. I can't say enough about Payne Chevrolet, I went to the service department to have my 2021 trailblazer checked for a terrible growling noise. We made an appointment for the following Wednesday morning for their transmission tech to look at it. Turns out the transmission was bad, under warranty. I left it , and 9 days later I was able to pick up my vehicle . Rick and Craig are the best service writers That I've ever met. Thank you Payne Chevrolet

The service people at Payne's Chevrolet are extremely nice. And I'm sure it is not their decision to do so, however, charging $18 per quart of oil is obscene price gouging! I'm still having trouble sitting down after having it rammed to me that severely! My vehicle requires 7 qts of Mobil 1 full synthetic. That oil can be purchased at Walmart for about $8 per quart ( and you know they are making plenty of profit even at that price). Make sure you inquire as to what Payne plans to charge per quart of oil before letting them do the oil change. Maybe their regular oil is more reasonably priced? IDK. The old fable about the goose who laid the golden egg comes to mind. Payne would do well to review that tale if they want repeat customers. This goose has been slain and will not be laying anymore golden eggs at Payne Chevrolet.
