Airbag/ Clutch pack
2 different occasions i got to my appointment only to find out the parts were not even in yet. No call from the facility to let me know. The first time I called them 3 times to let them know I was running late. Only to arrive and have to leave because the part wasn't in.

After the birth of our daughter my wife and I decided we needed to upsize our vehicle to a minivan. I found a 2016 Kia Sedona for sale at Lenoir City Ford and we decided to go look at the vehicle on January 16, 2021. After deciding to purchase the vehicle, my wife and I sat down with the salesperson and the manager (salesperson was new) to negotiate, which was non-existent. We were told the vehicle had already been sitting on the lot for 90 days (should have been a red flag) and therefore the vehicle’s price had already been reduced as much as possible. We were essentially told by the manager that they’d rather take their chances at the auction rather than supposedly lose a few hundred dollars in negotiation. During negotiation the option of trading in our existing car was brought up, but quickly dismissed as they offered us 1/2 of the average trade in value. In total, negation lasted 10-15 minutes and included paying the asking price and the dealer replacing a broken taillight. Upon deciding to purchase the vehicle, we advised the salesperson and manager that we’d be paying in cash. After agreeing on terms, it took approximately 3.5 hours for the dealer to finish all their tasks (paperwork, transfers, declining all the extras from the “finance” folks, etc). Prior to leaving the lot, we were assured that the dealer would call when the taillight was shipped, and they would also wash/detail the vehicle on that visit (we had a child with us and couldn’t wait any longer). After waiting for one month without hearing from the dealer I called to ask if the taillight had been shipped yet and to advise that we had yet to receive our tag/title. The salesperson admitted to having forgotten to order the part and promised he would as soon as possible. Regarding the tag/title we were referred to the dealer title clerk who promised she would check with the county to see what happened. In the meantime, the dealer overnighted another temporary tag. I called the dealer title clerk a week later after not having been called and again inquired about the tag/title. She admitted they did not actually have the title and had yet to receive anything from the previous lender. Additionally, she admitted the previous lender would only talk to their client (the previous owner) and would not talk with Lenoir City Ford. I know it’s common for a dealer to sell a vehicle without physical possession of the title but in these instances a dealer typically has a lien release (showing the balance was paid) and a limited power of attorney for vehicle transactions (allows them to transfer the title to me without the original owner’s signature). If they had these documents banks will usually talk to a dealer about the status of title documents. When I asked the dealer title clerk if they had those documents, she would only say they had legal possession of the vehicle but couldn’t explain why the bank refused to talk with them. We finally received our tag and title March 11, 2021. On March 10, 2021 the dealer called to advise they had received the taillight. An appointment was set for March 19, 2021 to replace the taillight and detail the vehicle. On the day of the appointment I noticed the passenger side front fender had popped out. Upon inspection it looked like there was damage (possible minor accident) where the clip was broken, and someone had glued the fender back in place. At my appointment I discussed my concern about the fender and was advised there was nothing they could do. The dealer advised the damage had “somehow slipped past our inspection” (along with the broken taillight), and they were not willing to replace the bumper but did glue it back (suspiciously with the same color glue) without first talking to me. Now I’m left with having to purchase and paint a bumper for a vehicle purchased 60 days ago. Additionally, they had washed the vehicle but did not detail. In summary, the salesperson was pleasant but the total lack of follow through by the

Customer service needs improvement
Recently purchased a new truck and the buying process was easy. Unfortunately I ran into some issues after the sale dealing with pre and post delivery service. A missing item for my truck required multiple emails over several weeks and an email to the general manager went unanswered.
Lenoir City Ford
They were very thorough in ensuring I had all the options and information I needed to make a decision on the purchase of my new Ranger, that I absolutely love!
Stress-free, No Pressure Experience
I am a return customer to Lenoir City Ford. Pete Clay helped me with my first purchase so when I returned to Lenoir City Ford to make a second purchase this past weekend, I again dealt with Pete with the assistance of Rob. Both gentlemen were very professional and answered all my many questions. It was a completely stress-free, no pressure car buying experience, and I was able to drive the exact vehicle home that I drove down to Lenoir City Ford to purchase. Thanks, Pete, Rob and Lenoir City Ford!
Do not recommend this dealership to anyone. I called Lenoir City Ford with a strict budget and full disclosure on my trade in, and they promised me before we came in that we could do the deal on the car I wanted. When I got there, they looked at my trade in, promised again with a firm yes that we can do this deal on the specific car I was looking at, we test drove, I said yes, and then they said I needed to finance $1300 more than what we had previously talked about. After I left, I called back the salesman Kevin Smith to understand why this occurred, and he said it was common procedure to test-drive and then see if the buyer can put more money into it, so he knew the deal was not going to be able to be made before we did that test-drive. I understand tactics when trying to sell cars, but there is no reason for an outright lie. Called the next day to a manager to try to rectify the issue, and he said he would get back to me, but there has still been no call back.

This is a follow-up to the glowing review I wrote March 1, 2019. I wrote that review because Lenoir City Ford promised to correct a problem with the warranty I purchased. This promise was broken. Now, after months of trying to get the problem resolved, I don't even get responses to my inquiries. I was told the warranty allows me to go to any Ford dealership for service. A week after purchasing the vehicle, the engine light came on and I took it to the closest Ford dealership. Low and behold, they did not honor my warranty. Not only did they sell me a vehicle requiring immediate service (lemon), but a warranty that was no good.

Staff was very friendly and tried what they could to get me the vehicle that I was looking for. They can locate vehicles from all other dealerships to fit your needs.
Jason, we're happy to hear you had such a positive experience with our team! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!
Not what I'd expected for sure. Their staff was very friendly and respectful of me and my time. The management and the salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about the truck I was looking at. Certainly not like the other Ford dealers in Knoxville.
Danny, thank you for taking the time to leave us your response to our Staff's outstanding customer service! We hope you continue to choose Lenoir City Ford for all your vehicle needs. Take care!
Friendly and professional. The best experience I've ever had buying a car. Sonny Wolfenbarger and the rest of the staff treated me like family. I'll buy my next car from Lenoir City Ford, too.
