I'd like to give 0 stars if possible. Please avoid this dealership at all costs. I worked with Mo at Tansky pre-owned. From the start he was notoriously pushy and wanted us to place a hold on the 18 Camry we were looking at for our daughter within 20 minutes since it was not on the lot as it still needed to go through a service inspection. He claimed that we needed to place a hold on the car by completing a pre-approval credit application even though we were going to pay cash. We decided not to do this since we were not getting good vibes from him. Several days passed and we decided to follow through with placing a hold on the car even though it had still not gone through inspection. The price of the car increased by 500 dollars which Mo did mention might happen. I asked if they could honor the previous price and he said they could do that. He never mentioned over text, which I have record of, how long the price would be good for, but any normal decent person would assume the price would be accepted until the car was officially released from inspection. Over text, Mo said he received my credit application to hold the car and said, ( directly copied from his text), "I'll keep you updated once the vehicle is ready to show, or if you'd like , we can take a look at it while it's in the body shop for service." Again, a normal person would assume that this mens, that I could see the car visually while it was still in the body shop to verify it looked okay and then drive it and see it again when it was finished with inspection. Well, when I arrived, he magically had the car on the lot with the keys ready to go. I asked if it had gone through service inspection to see what it might need, and he said no. I immediately felt that I was being taken advantage of. There were things that clearly needed to be fixed on the car. The side door black plastic a pillar covers were melted, and there were a lot of scuffs and scratches on the car. He said they will fix that when it goes through service and detail. I drove the car and there were not mechanical issues that I could tell, but the tires were shot and I could tell from looking and driving that it most likely needed brakes. I brought the car back after driving it and he tells me that the price is only good until 8:00 that night and that the hold I placed was only good until then as well. I asked why would this would be the case considering that it hasn't gone through the service and body shop yet. I explained that he never told me orally or over text that I was going to be driving the car and that the hold wasn't going to be honored until the car was serviced. Mo then said, "trust me, they will do what it needs and it will be fine." He became pretty aggressive and told me I needed to fill out paperwork on the car now or someone else would buy it. At that point, I was pretty much done and decided not to buy the car, and to clearly and directly explain to him why he was dishonest. He continued to gaslight me by saying he explained all of this to me, which is totally false and said I should understand it all. I asked him to show me where in his text messages to me where it was explained that he price was only good for one day, and the hold would only be good for one day regardless of the car not being ready for sale. I can't believe sales people are still like this in today's world. This place is still in the dark ages with regard to honestly, character, empathy, and basic human decency. Please don't make the mistake I did.

My Camry was put into service within 10 minutes of arrival and was done quickly with all points checked. WE have brought our vehicle in for service at Tansky since purchasing in2016 and I can honestly say that Tansky is the first car dealership that truly stands behind their service promise.

Just had my 4Runner in for a warranty repair that turned into a major job. Kirby was my service writer and kept me actively apprised of what was being done and how the timeline worked. The experience was truly exceptional with Tansky throughout. I have been coming here for over 20 years and will continue to do so in the future!

I asked for a photo.

I asked for a photo. They said they will send me the photos. They never did, and they never followed up besides the first phone call. I don't even know why they called me. I wrote them an email asking them to send photos. And, they immediately call me to tell me that they will send me photos. Like, what? Why did you waste my time with a phone call to tell me something I already know. And then, not do the only thing you said you would do. What a dumb sales team.
