You're in good hands with Brent!!
Though this is not my first time taking my Prius in for service at Tansky Toyota, this was definitely the most memorable. Brent took great care of me, making sure that I was notified along the way of the status and work they were doing... when I came in the pick up the Prius his courteous service continued with a smile. I felt like he wasn't just there to help Tansky rack up my service bill, but instead looking out for me, and making sure I was comfortable with what they were doing on my humble Prius. Thanks Brent for the great service and thoughtfulness! He was even as attentive to notice how my name was spelled!! The texts and phone calls were great touches, much better than the slightly negative, non-memorable service I had a few years ago. Keep it up!!

A Very Pleasant Experience
When I walked into Tansky Sawmill Toyota on a Friday afternoon, Richard Norman greeted me with a smile and handshake within 3 seconds. I was interested in the RAV4 and wanted a test drive, so we talked and he showed me the safety features and let me take a solo drive. I'd been driving my 2001 Toyota Celica "Scarlet" for 8 years and needed something larger, and I had an offer to sell that I couldn't refuse. I was also looking at a Honda, but the Honda dealership would not let me take a solo drive even with my license and proof of insurance. So I asked Richard about an extended test drive of a RAV4 Platinum and he arranged it and they let me keep it from Saturday until Monday. I love the RAV4 and just made my first purchase of a new vehicle since 1987! Working with Richard Norman during this whole process has been the most pleasant vehicle transaction I have experienced, and I've been driving for over 40 years. Richard was very responsive when I had questions, both by phone and text. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know looking for a new or used vehicle.

Ask for Richard Norman @ Tansky!
When I walked into Tansky Sawmill Toyota on a Friday afternoon, Richard Norman greeted me with a warm smile and handshake within seconds. I was interested in the RAV4 and wanted a test drive, so we talked and he showed me the safety features and let me take a solo test drive. I'd been driving my Toyota Celica for many years and needed something larger, and I had an offer to sell that I couldn't refuse (it pays to take good care of your car). I was also looking at a Honda, but the Honda dealership would not let me take a solo test drive, even with my license and proof of insurance. So I asked Richard about an extended test drive of a RAV4 Platinum, and he arranged for me to keep it from Saturday until Monday. I love the RAV4 and just made my first purchase of a brand new vehicle since 1987! Working with Richard Norman during this whole process has been the most pleasant, satisfying (even fun) vehicle transaction I have experienced, and I've been driving for over 40 years. Richard was very responsive when I had questions, both by phone and text. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know looking for a new or used vehicle.

Horrible
I went in 4/18 @ 6:50pm to test drive the 2017 RAV4. I walked in and there were NO sales people available. A sales manager was sitting in the front desk playing with his phone as i stood in front of him WAITING for him to finish updating his Facebook profile - I let that go. I asked him if I can test drive the new RAV4 and he tells me the he only has two sales people on the floor and they were both busy and that I would have to wait - I let that go, as Im practical and understand dealerships, or any other business for that matter can be busy or short handed. I asked him if he can toss me the keys so that I can test drive the car instead of waiting as its difficult to test drive a vehicle because of my INSANE schedule. He tells me NO, and that I would have to wait for a salesman. Why do I have to wait for a salesman to test drive a vehicle that I'm serious about purchasing? What are you doing at the moment that is earth shattering that you cant allow me to take the vehilce for a test drive? Take my drivers license and give me the keys to the car so I can test drive it instead of having me wait there until a sales person is free AND then test drive the car? That sounds silly to me. Is Tansky Toyota in the business of selling cars and providing adequate customer service? Do you care about customers that are serious about purchasing a Toyota? I have been completely turned off by this experience and specifically this dealership, and more over by the gentleman at the front desk when I walked in. I was SUPER interested in the 2017 RAV4 but since this poor customer service experience, I will be taking my hard earned cash elsewhere - Honda to be exact. If anyone in management from Tansky Toyota or Toyota corporate is reading this, this is trully unacceptable. As I work for one of the largest employers in central Ohio (hint: its a large bank), I will be telling EVEYONE there, as well as all my friends and famly to avoid this dealership and Toyota.

First, I apologize for your experience in our store. There's just no excuse for what happened. My only explanation for why you weren't given the keys to a RAV4 (to take on a test drive) is that we want our Product Specialists to demonstrate the safety features on the car. So, it's store policy to have a sales person accompany customers on the test drive. Beyond that, all I can say is that the person you met in our store does not fit our culture. Someday I hope you will give us another chance so that we can prove that to you. Although I wish I never had to read a review like this, I do want to thank you for your feedback and candor.
Great car, not so great finance rates.
Rich Norman was great and so is the Veloster I selected. They even stayed late to help get the deal done. Great experience. Now the bad. Totally screwed me on the financing. I literally refinanced the car 2 weeks later for less than HALF the "great rate" they gave me. That's right less than half! Buyer beware and also beware of all the added "loan fees" as well. Left me with a very bad taste in my mouth.

there customer service are great there response is very fast, answer all the question i ask in a timely manner i like that. hopefully i get a good dear from the dealer to buy this car.

I was not relaxed about the idea of buying a new car. Salesman made it easy as he explained each step and answered all questions I had concerning the Car.

Stay away if financing.
I was told the bank required me to get extended warranty in order to complete purchase. After speaking with bank myself later I found out that this was untrue. Extra money on my loan that I would have never added.
