Told service I just wanted an oil change.
Told service I just wanted an oil change. That’s it. Service told me they do an inspection with every oil change. Fine. They did not tell me they were charging me $35 for the inspection or I would have declined. Service tech came out to waiting area holding my engine air filter and cabin air filter to show me that in his opinion they needed replaced. I told him I already had service scheduled with my regular service provider and both filters were already scheduled to be replaced. When the cabin filter was reinstalled the glove compartment door was damaged to the point it did not open or shut properly. There is no way the service tech did not realize something was wrong with the glove compartment door after he reinstalled the filter and tried to close the door. I called the service department when I got home and they agreed to repair the damage for free. I found a piece of one of the door open/close mechanisms laying on the floor on the passenger side of my car. The maintenance recommendations over the past two years are borderline ridiculous. One service trip the tech insisted I needed a new battery right away but 12 months later the service tech checked it off the list as being fine. They also did not wash my car and the service tech left dirty hand prints all over my now broken glove box door. I am assuming these techs try to upsell customers because they get a commission or some type of financial incentive. If I were a salesperson at VW I would be quite irritated by these inconsistent pushy service techs because they really turn people off from wanting to buy another VW. I know I will never buy another one just to avoid the service department.

Nathan helped me out and originally said my car would
Nathan helped me out and originally said my car would take about 3-4 weeks and my car ended up getting done in about 2 and everything stayed good. Great team and staff and will be taking my car back for other things.
