Appalling Techs

GM hasn't done a xxxx thing and the dealer sits in their hands. The techs are appalling. They write down they did a job/service to your vehicle and it's never done. Taking my car in for service is like having to go to the doctors office or a dentist.

I purchased a 2015 Equinox.

I purchased a 2015 Equinox. From day one there were issues. I understand it is a used car, but if you truly do the 100 point inspection, you would have found a headlight out, brakes and rotors(they did fix) and oil issues! I have only put 1k miles on it and right now there is a huge oil problem, probably from the PVC being clogged up. It’s losing oil but not leaking, it’s coming from the top of the engine. It is now sitting in the driveway waiting to get fixed. Sales team was nice. But the next day when I came in to get the break work done not one talked to me.

Not veteran friendly.

Not veteran friendly. If you want to have a dealer listen to you GO ELSEWHERE. Only want you to finance through them. My experience was less than pleasing did not feel appreciated seemed to act like I was wasting the dealers time. To many other dealers out there that appreciate you to waste your time here.

UPDATE: a couple sales people reached out and lined up a very similar car for me to purchase at the price I originally offered. So they made things right and I finally got my car Original story: I had stopped by multiple weeks in a row to look at a used car. 1st time, they were closed (my fault), but I got to look it over. Second week, I go in when they are open to hopefully talk to someone. I was outside for 15 minutes, and no one bothered to come out, so I went inside to the front desk where no one was stationed and waited. Finally, someone came up, and I offered to buy the car at $900 less than they had it listed for because I'm on a budget. Steven told me there was no wiggle room, so we exchanged numbers, and I said to call me when you're ready to sell it at the number I offered them. Within the week, they dropped the price $1000 and I received no call until I started pursuing them. Steven finally calls me back, and we arrange for a Saturday test drive before I buy. Saturday morning I fill out a credit app to get things going and as I just left my house to go to the dealership, I get a call saying someone came and test drove it and put a credit app in on it, so it was theirs now. I was furious. No respect for if you were there first to buy it. They will sell it out from under you after you put in a lot of effort to buy it. Waisted weeks of my life on actively trying to buy this car only for them to sell it to the first other person to show interest in it at a lower price than I originally offered.

Went to purchase a new truck today, and was told by the store “team leader” , James Stickler, that my business was not welcome. This all stems from a previous purchase a year ago when the dealership finance manager made a $4k mistake. I made it right after being contacted and wrote a check for the dealerships mistake. Now…they don’t want my business. This is fine so many better choices. Good riddance marhofer!

Avoid This Dealership

First, I just want warn potential customers of a few issues that I experienced at this Dealership. The finance guy that I delt with was, in my opinion, was unprofessional at first. While trying to convince me to purchase the extended warranty package he stated that there were several issues popping up with the particular vehicle that I was purchasing so I really should purchase the extra protection. I should have walked out then and there but I really wanted said vehicle. Very unprofessional and very wrong statement. Second, The vehicle I was buying had issues with the installed software and the service guys were gone for the day so I couldn't take the vehicle home with me. Why do they have vehicles on the lot that have known issues? Third, they force a paint and interior protection package on the purchase which should be optional. How does any potential customer know if the product was actually applied to the vehicle? And with my AutoBody background I know that the product they supposedly applied to my vehicle either isn't actual ceramic or it wasn't applied correctly as the paint is hard to clean. If the was actual ceramic sealant on it, bugs and such would just wipe away easily, which is not the case here. Forth, after gently washing said vehicle after the recent rain, I discovered scratches on the hood. These scratches are in a circular pattern as if someone was buffing it and had contaminants of the pad. All in All, I love the vehicle but not this dealership and I have delt with several dealerships over the last 30 years. Buyer Beware.
