This collision center repaired front end of my Honda HR-V

This collision center repaired front end of my Honda HR-V after an unfortunate slide on mud in a family member's driveway. No one else worked on the car. A month later, the engine seized on the hwy, and it was towed to the dealership for assessment. The mechanic determined that the upper radiator hose clamp was never re-locked and all the coolant in the radiator leaked onto the engine and destroyed the engine, doing 7 thousand dollars worth of damage to the car, and the engine was destroyed by negligence. I have a letter to the ins company on the dealership letterhead saying as such, per the mechanic who looked at the car. Serpentini's financial manager is so far refusing to even return my calls as to replacing the engine and has not offered to replace the wages lost while I am without wheels, nor provide a rental car in the interim. The car ins co agrees that Serpentini performed a negligent repair, and presented the information to the head of this location. Will update as possible. I would not recommend this collision center .

Service repair gone missing

It has been 2 months since they ordered a part for my car and they have no updates. All I get is it was ordered. After 2 months they should be calling to find out where it is.

We were lied to about the holding fee, for starters.

We were lied to about the holding fee, for starters. Once we arrived, Russell presented us with a price of almost $9,000 more than advertised on your website. Once we refused, we continued to negotiate for the offered price. He said that those prices are inaccurate and that the only way to get that price is to go through GM. GM came back with an insulting percentage, so we refused to use them and continued to negotiate. He finally agreed to that price and put it on the congratulations form for $27,576. Once we got into financing, Alan started discussing the military with me, so I was distracted while signing. My wife caught that the cash price on the purchase agreement needed to be corrected because he had $29,326 as the price and not the $27,576 that we agreed upon. Alan quickly blew us off, stating that our rebate of $1,750 changed the cost to the negotiated price. My wife said, no, that is the wrong price but he reassured us that it was and handed us the thumb drive, so we finished. You could see it was wrong when we got home to review the documents. We notified Russell immediately, and he backed Alan up. My wife spoke to Alan the next day, and he repeatedly insisted that the price of the car was $29,326. She said that the price never came out of anyone's mouth, nor was it anywhere on any paperwork, but we took a picture of the document stating it was for the $27,576. Alan told us we received an amazing deal and should be very happy. This exchange was all through text, so we have documentation. What they did was jack the price up to $1,750, which voided our rebates, that was $500 for the military and $1250 for the GM one. They overcharged us $1,750!!

THIS BUSINESS TOOK ADVANTAGE OF AND CONNED MY 86 YR OLD

THIS BUSINESS TOOK ADVANTAGE OF AND CONNED MY 86 YR OLD DISABLED MOTHER. They Up Charged her $3000.00 because she forgot her magnifying 🔍 glass. This is what happened: Because My Mom had bought many cars from This Dealership in the past, she trusted them, and knew the process of how this dealership barters. But this place has changed. My Mom had forgotten her magnifying glass, and she had informed them of this. When the bartering started, Her salesman went back and forth with the manager to get the price that she wanted. When she got home, and looked over the paperwork with her magnifying glass, she noticed that the price was $3000.00 more than what the salesman had told her. She called her salesman back immediately to inform them of this mistake. The salesman told her that she Did buy the car, and they added the $3000.00 more in fees, which They weren't required to tell her about. They also told her, because she signed the paperwork, she is stuck with the car, and there is Nothing She can do. They treated My 86 yr old Mother VERY RUDLEY. This Dealership took advantage of My Mom's Disability and Inability to see fine print. They lied to her about the price, because they knew she couldn't see, and they took advantage of the trust she had in them from numerous previous sales. My Mom has cried all Night, was unable to sleep, can't hold food down, and was at the bank all morning trying to get $3000.00 together because the salesperson deceived her. This dealership scams Elderly, Disadvantaged and Disabled People now. They used to be Excellent, which is why My Mom trusted them. But This is How they treat lifelong customers now.  I am Disgusted by their Unethical, Underhanded, and Deceiving Practices.

HONESTY AND INTEGRITY, it isn't dead after all!

HONESTY AND INTEGRITY, it isn't dead after all!!! FAR exceeded my expectations on EVERY level, YOU WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF!!! This dealership actually cares and demonstrated this on levels that I will honestly never forget!!! Nothing makes a woman more nervous than buying a car (especially those of us who know next to nothing about cars), and when I fell in love with an SUV at this dealership, I was cautious and nervous. Bricil put me at ease and guided me through the process with so much kindness and sincerity, I feel like I made a new friend! I felt very secure in my trade-in, a very fair exchange price was offered and the team made sure to get me in the road quickly and in my dream car. But where Serpentini earns my loyalty, and should earn your business, was what transpired after. Without getting into specifics, an issue did arise that any other dealership would have shrugged off or dismissed. John, a manager within the sales department, rose to the occasion. His dedication to my safety and my concerns was unparalleled; honestly I'm still in utter disbelief at how well I was taken care of, what lengths he went for my needs as a customer, and wish I could do more than this review. Please, PLEASE do yourself a favor and buy from Serpentini if you want absolute peace of mind. This car is everything I have ever wanted, and I may have found it at another dealership, but what I would not have found was this incredible dedication to customer satisfaction. You won't, either. Go to Serpentini, look nowhere else, you will NOT regret it!

HORRIBLE

Horrible experience! * Never greeted! * Place was dirty when we went inside! * Waited 3 minutes to be acknowledge (Not busy at all) * Looking for a car for my daughter ( teenager) We never told the sale person who it was for . Told him OUR price range. * Sales person told us to go somewhere else. Who he refers too. Which wasn't a real dealership. Needles to say we got a car for her that same day. Thank for turning us away! We got a Great deal. I highly recommend Ron Monhofer in Stow!

Do not Deal with this Dealership

My daughter and I did research on the internet to find vehicles that we wanted to test drive. I called on a Friday morning for an appointment on Saturday morning. I explained to the representative (Chelsea) that we had a very tight schedule and we were only going to have 30 minutes on site and to test drive just one vehicle (I even gave the VIN number). They confirmed the appointment via text minutes later on Friday. We arrived 5 minutes early to our appoint, and after sitting for 15 minutes with an agent, we were informed that the vehicle that we drove 90 minutes from our home to see was on a test drive with a walk in potential customer. As you can imagine, I was irate! When you make an appointment, you expect the vehicle to be available. To compound the issue, the Manager (Evan) was argumentative and just told me that was their way of doing business. I do not recommend this dealership!!

Dealer response

Larry, I can definitely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, we are not able to hold vehicles without a deposit in place. They are available to all at that point. If the situation were reversed and we refused to let you see the vehicle because someone else had an appointment, you may be equally as upset. Same as for shopping for a home... multiple people can look at the same home, but the first to commit to it is the one that ends up with the home.
