Third Toyota in 4 years

I have been a return customer to summit Toyota for my last three cars and have had nothing less of exceptional service! The guys and girls there make it so easy and comfortable and always make sure you get the best deal possible! Dave datsko was my sales associate for my 2018 rav4. He made sure I was completely comfortable and knowledgeable about my purchase and got me into my car within two days! Thanks again Dave!

Great experience!

Stephen Robbins was great! Just bought a 2018 4Runner and Mr. Robbins took his time to explain all the details about our new vehicle. He also made the car buying experience a pleasure!! Mr. Lawson also worked with us to get the right price at the payments we wanted!! Thanks again guys!

A pleasant, no pressure experience!

Purchasing my RAV4 was pretty much effortless. On my initial visit, I was able to test drive the model I was interested in, learn more about the features and take time to consider my options, all without feeling any pressure to buy. The dealership was able to easily secure the exact color and model I wanted. On the date of delivery, the vehicle was clean and ready, my salesperson presented the available accessories for my consideration, provided an in-car overview of the vehicle's features, and set up the Toyota Entune app. All paperwork was organized and ready for my signature. I also toured the dealership and scheduled my first service appointment. I felt that my salesperson took all the right steps to ensure I was comfortable with the vehicle before driving off in it. The only thing that could have been handled differently was the Sam's Club Auto Buying program - I never received a Certificate for the exact model I purchased so I don't have a breakdown of the Sam's Club discount, Toyota rebates and dealership discounts.

Good salesmanship

I took a number of hours trying to decide which of four Ravs I was interested in. I thought I wanted one car but based on the information Stephen provided, I was able to narrow it to two different years models. Stephen was gracious in 90 degree temps to work with me until I made up my mind, which included conversations with my daughters and friends. He was a trooper.

Summit Toyota

I would like to thank Dave Datsko at Summit Toyota for making the process of buying a new car easy. This is my second purchase from Dave. He walked me thru and explained all the features of the car. Buying my 2018 Toyota 4Runner

I had a great experience with Dave Datsko at Summit Toyota when I went to purchase my 4Runner. He was very knowledgeable and understanding of my needs in this purchase! I am so happy with the car!

Long wait and lack of communication

When we first met Blake on our test drive on a Saturday, we were very impressed with his knowledge of the Camry Hybrid and we were grateful he was so easygoing and not at all pushy. Summit did not have the color we wanted, but with a small deposit, Blake assured us he could find a car for us on Monday, and we could most likely have it within a few days. Unfortunately, that's where the great customer service ended....we talked to him on Monday and he told us that he had found our car and would get back to us with a pickup day/time. We were still hoping to pick it up within a few days, but when we hadn't heard back in another 2 days, we left messages for both Blake and a manager at the dealership. No one returned our call. On Friday, we sent an email to Blake saying that we needed to know the status of our car and didn't appreciate that no one was communicating with us. He replied and told us they would have the car the following Monday. He said he was even willing to come in on his day off on Tuesday to get us the car, if needed. We called again on Tuesday and were directed to a manager's voicemail. Once again, we left a message and no one returned the call. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all came and went....and still we had no car. Thursday afternoon, we finally received an email from Blake saying he would have the car in the lot on Friday and he would call to arrange a day/time for pickup when it was ready. On Friday morning, we sent an email saying we were very disappointed in the service we've received thus far and how it had now been almost two weeks since we "purchased" the car and we still didn't have it in our possession. We said that if we did not have the car that day that we were planning to go to another dealer (which we had already started doing). Surprisingly, they were able to accommodate our request and we picked up the car that afternoon. However, it doesn't stop there.....when we met with Blake on the first day, we told him that the car would be in my husband's name. When I dropped my husband off to pick it up, he called me shortly afterward to say the paperwork was not correct and the loan was in both names. This was not a problem for us, except that it's not what we wanted. Thankfully, we absolutely love the car! We were just extremely disappointed with the lack of communication over the two weeks we were waiting. Had Blake kept us informed of the trouble he was having in getting the blue color we wanted, we likely would have been more forgiving. We will likely still go to Summit for service on the car while it's free, but do not anticipate buying another car from this dealer in the future.
