    Overcharged for parts and charged diagnostic fees even though repair was done there. Then was told to falsify Mazda customer survey in order to get a credit... for the overcharges, Formal complaint has been filed with Mazda Customer Care and corporate advocate team.

    My wife brought her Mazda CX-5 here to fix two overdue defect recalls. When they were gone they told her that the belt tensioner needed to be replaced... and quoted $400 for the repair. I remembered we had just had the serpentine belt replaced 5 months earlier and the tensioner was fine. Do I told Ed Howard Mazda not to do that repair and brought our car to my car repair place. What a surprise....our mechanic said there is absolutely nothing wrong with the belt tensioner. So it turns out Ed Howard Mazda mechanic tried to rip off my wife. I figure they are happy to have you bring your recall car in to fix the recall item, then try to sell you fake repairs. Sleazy way to do business if you ask me!!

    Just leased my third Mazda today from Ed Howard Mazda in Sarasota. Their team is the best I've dealt with in my life, and I've had Hondas, Toyotas, Infinitys,... and more. The cars are pleasing to the eye (especially the new Mazda 3 Hatchback), but there's more that's pleasing that looks....and that's customer care and service. They get an A + in that department. Thankyou, Tom Harvey, for being my trusted salesman. You made me smile today as I drove off the lot in my new car!

    I never thought I would post a review on purchase of a used car from a dealership, but what I experienced today is worthy of note. Had the pleasure of... working with Matt Schultz (who came over from the Ed Howard Lincoln Sales next store) and Jonathan Podplesky from Ed Howard Mazda. Professional, thorough, efficient, and absolutely sensitive to my needs. compared to some others I have dealt with, they set a new service level. must be a reflection of Mr. Howard, who clearly has passion for customer service in both their processes and the people he picks. thanks guys, you set a new standard!

    We rented a brand new CX-5 while visiting the area and found the radio did not work at all. Talked on phone with Steve Wilkinson, a salesperson and he... said to stop by, so we did. As he was getting a technician to help us, his manager(I believe his name was Ray) yelled at him and the tech for helping us! So the tech left and Steve popped the hood and looked at the fuses. The radio fuse was missing so he put one in and the radio worked. Steve knows real customer service; sadly, his manager did not. We try out certain rental cars to see if we want to buy, so Steve was right to help us for a future sale. First impressions really count! Thank you, Steve W!

    Please don't buy a car from here. I bought a used BMW . It has a major engine problem in less than 30 days. The manager says he can take care of me by... trading it in for $7500 when I just paid $12500 for it. Please don't buy here the manager is the worse in customer service I ever had.

    We offered alternate options for the customer and he turned us down, we try to help all our customers in everyway possible. Car was sold as-is and the... customer was aware of that at the time of purchase. We strive to make every customer happy with every used vehicle.

    Recently I shopped for a new Mazda3 Hatchback at Ed Howard in Sarasota after being disappointed by my auto shopping experience in Charlotte County. I... worked with Steve Wilkinson and Jon Zimmerman and found both to be friendly, helpful, and genuine. They were able to get the car I wanted from another dealer and offered a price that was well within my target range--no tricks or haggling. Ed Howard is a family owned dealership, and it shows. I met many of the other staff members once I had purchased my car, and they all seemed happy to have my business. So far I think my Mazda3 is a terrific car, and I look forward to working with Ed Howard to keep it in great shape. Thanks again to Steve and Jon for making it easy to choose Ed Howard over other dealers. I'm happy to have a new Mazda3 in the garage beside my 2000 Mazda Miata.
