I have been a customer of Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru

I have been a customer of Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru since 2017 and have always been very pleased with the service I received. This service department was the only place that serviced my 2017 Forester. My 2023 Forested was purchased from Fitzgerald. The customer service received today was a total disappointment and I asked for my keys back and left without receiving service. My service needs were always handled by Lisa and her team (they were excellent) but today there was some new people working there. The Lady working at the check in position was talking with another customer so I waited my turn. There was another person at another service position who appeared to be reading or looking at her phone. The first lady suddenly looked and me and said, “Can I help you?” I told her I was there for my service appointment she then rolled her eye and nodded head toward the person who was at the other position. When I stepped over there she gave the impression of being annoyed. I did say sorry for my attitude but when I get attitude I give it back. She asked my name and then told pointed to the empty work position next to her and told me that is the service reprehensive I was supposed to see. The attitude from these two ladies was the worst. I did go into the dealership and asked to speak with a manger but was told none was available. After returning home I call in an attempt tp speak with a manger left a voice message but no return call. I do speak with my wallet and will not be doing any future business with Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru and share my experience with friends, family, and acquaintances and encourage then to consider their oppositions. This truly saddens me as I’ve enjoyed working with Lisa, and working on purchasing my vehicles from Sara in this dealership sales department.

Absolutely the best car-buying experience I've ever had.

Absolutely the best car-buying experience I've ever had. My girlfriend bought a car about a month before I did and Adrian was super helpful with her. For me, Ryan Stefl worked with me the entire day, answered all of my questions, and even picked up my car to get it cleaned after my purchase to make sure I got the same treatment as everyone else despite the sale finalizing after the maintenance people went home. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible Service

Went in to get my car looked at and was told i needed a new transmission. Was then told it would not be covered under warranty because David the service manager did not want go through the trouble of dealing with the subaru claims department. He said and i quote " I have been burned in the past." So i had to call subaru myself to get them to come out and look at it and currently am still waiting mind you i have been waiting 5 weeks now would not recommend.

I was in the area and popped into Fitzgerald's Subaru for...

I was in the area and popped into Fitzgerald's Subaru for an alignment on my SUV and my experience was great. My car was in and out in no time. The dealership is making sure that they're COVID aware and doing everything that they need to in order to ensure the safety of their customers. I will be returning for service in the future.

Almost

It’s probably not common to be writing a positive review when a purchase was not completed, but here it is. With a little background information first. I am battling an incurable cancer, although the doctors believe it is manageable. But to arrive at my affordability numbers I obviously needed to consider future medical costs, cost of living and even life expectancy. Once I decided what price would work for me, the vehicle (2021 Sonata) I hoped it would be reasonable to Fitzway. Unfortunately, they were unwilling or unable to lower the sticker price listed. But, here is the positive. Marie Tsillas was outstanding with her efforts in the whole process. She answered every question, offered other vehicles all in an extremely quick manner, all via the internet. Fitzway can be proud of her and I would highly recommend contacting her for a purchase. The only reason I did not give Fitzway a 5 star rating is because we were not able to complete the purchase as close as I believe the numbers were. Otherwise, Fitzway and Marie are worthy of 5 stars.

Completely dishonest with the condition of the vehicle....

Completely dishonest with the condition of the vehicle. Less than 2k later engine needs a full rebuild. Purchased a miata from them which are known for being reliable (non interference motors and all) and they said it had a small oil leak out of the oil pan gasket. How about a massive leak out of the crank seal, valve cover gasket, pin hole in hardlines for vvt actuators and more. They improperly installed the new soft top, improperly installed a new window motor and failed to disclose the dent in the drivers side door. Not to mention two speakers were missing which they advertised as there. Additionally one of their detailers broke off the antenna, (they did send me a check for it but come on really!) They are hiding behind their "as is vehicle clause" and refuse to address the situation further. Idk about you but if a vehicle falls apart before its first oil change, the dealership must've really mickeymoused xxxx together. Been working on cars for over a decade, and never have i seen such a lack of attention to detail. Screws missing on the interior door panels, windage trays, and even the oil pan itself. DO NOT PURCHASE A USED VEHICLE HERE. idgaf if there is an as is agreement or not, if im spending 7k+ on a car it had better work as advertised.

Mr. Morgan, is it always regrettable when our customers are disappointed with their expectation of a used vehicle purchase. When you inquired about this 18 year old car from 1800 miles away, we did everything we could to send pictures and descriptions of this car. This car was clearly identified, disclosed and discussed as a "Handyman Fixer Upper." This car was priced so far below market that it made sense for you to fly out and drive it home. As there is no FL DMV inspection, Fitzgerald's offers the most comprehensive written inspections available in the state. We also are the only dealer in Florida to voluntarily add a list of recommended maintenance and repairs that are noted by our Technician as an additional level of transparency and confidence to the process. So, we told you, showed you, put in all in writing and had you sign it. That process covers everything we can possibly control. Since you stated that you have worked on cars for over a decade, you certainly know that any 18 year old car can come with a "snapshot" of it's condition, but never a "crystal ball" for how it may perform in the future. You even shared with your Sales Associate and our Pre-Owned Vehicle Director that you were planning to convert this vehicle into an autocross car. Since your purchase, you have indicated to us that you have driven the vehicle all the way from Florida to Colorado and then on to Texas, all in a vehicle that we designated as a Handyman Fixer Upper and included a list of recommended maintenance and repairs. While we never want a customer to be displeased with a purchase, we maintain that we were completely up front with you regarding everything we knew about the vehicle long before you travelled from out of state to come and make the purchase.
