Been calling store since Monday no one answered the phone I been holding on for a total of 31hours. I call every day 10am.e

I have bought 2 cars from Carmax. The sales part is...

I have bought 2 cars from Carmax. The sales part is great, but the service department has always and still is the poorest excuse for a service department I have ever seen. I grew up in dealerships, so I know how good service is supposed to be. They have had my car for over 2 weeks, and I have had to deal with 4 different staff/service writers, but can't get a manager to call me back. I keep getting the run around because they don't know how to fix the car, and had to send it to the chevy dealership across the street. The Service manager, Steve, is either never there, and he clearly doesn't know how to return a call, so it isn't surprising that the service center is so poorly run, no accountability. Also, the hours at this service department are very rigid, as they are not open on weekend. Truly, if it wasn't for the warranty, I wouldn't use this dealership for service as the it is a joke!

HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT

I have bought 2 cars from Carmax. The sales part is great, but the service department has always and still is the poorest excuse for a service department I have ever seen. Fabulous and off the scale honest

I traded in a 6 month old Lexus hybrid for a Mitsibushi lancer. I paid $20k for the lexus and my 16 year old pretended to like it but he hated it. It was a lame hybrid and his friends laughed at him. So before he even got his license and had only added 400 miles to the car I took it back. Eliot got me a deal on a Mitsibushi with 19,000 miles. The trade in came back at $14,000. Eliot WENT BACK AND GOT ME A BETTER DEAL! because I was a previous Carmax customer. I ended up with a 5 year warranty on the Mitsubishi and a $700 refund... You cannot beat Carmax. If you buy cars from this dealership THEY LOOK AFTER YOU. Genuine customer.

SUV Trade

Drove 6 hours round trip from Port Charlotte to look at a car and trade in a 2011 Ford Expedition. Wanted down payment of 10,000 dollars to finance the car. Walked out of dealership and bought from ford dealership in ft Myers with only trade and 1500 dollars more for my trade. Purchased a 2018 Expy was looking at a 2018 Suburban at CarMax. Waste of Time

Offered half price of retail value to purchase car on kbb. Waste of time. Have been to other Carmax and had a fair price. This Orlando Carmax is the worst. Wait for an hour to be told they don't offer kbb trade in price not even close. Go to a different Carmax or another place because once you go here the price stays in the system and you can't have it reappraised for a higher value at another Carmax.

Bought a 2014 Lincoln MKZ

Several problems with engine stopping but Lincoln Dealership repaired under warranty. One problem was rust coming thru under right driverside door and CarMax took in and getting repaired. After a little over a year the rust has come back more and Service said out of warranty and won't fix. They just covered up the rust temporary and should be responsible. If it wasn't same place I might understand but where they fixed it they should be responsible. Rude Service Rep. We bought 2 cars, a Porche and Lincoln.

Appraisal was a waste of time!

Getting appraisal here is a complete waste of time. Brought in a low mileage extremely clean, no accident, beautiful Honda accord, and was offered below rough NADA wholesale. I ended up selling it easily myself for thousand more than they offered me, and still below retail.

Dont go here

They approve you online.have you pay,get insurance, sign all the papers, had me there all nite...washed the car put the tag on it and then tell me on a Saturday nite with my two kida with me.im no longer approved
